We stopped at Moon Pie Pizzeria on the way to Bryson City for a mini holiday vacation. We ordered a medium pizza, The Cristina, and it was perfectly cooked & seasoned to perfection. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had and a generous portion big enough to share with my husband. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and service was fantastic. We will most definitely return when we’re in the area again!

Despite the fact that there was a major mishap that delayed our pie for about 40 minutes ( the ticket got lost?), the pie was amazing!! They also comped the 6 beers me and my partner consumed. We ordered the Cristina, with prosciouto, spinach and truffle oil. It was delightful. The server was super apologetic and all in all it was a great experience. Great restaurants are defined in their response to screw-ups and this one shone!!

Where to start would be the question…. the 2 ladies waiting tables were amazing in a horrible situation. The owner is the cook an he needs JESUS. The way he spoke to one of the waitresses was reason to walk out an never go back. She should file charges for harassment much less quit… any woman should never be treated or talked to in that way… much less by your boss. I told her she needs better for herself. Then other lady was holding her self together an not bashing him, when she had every reason to close those doors an leave. As I said the 2 ladies deserve so much better. The owner which is pictured on the town website, was drunk, cooking, oh not cooking, food for guests. We watched him get alcohol out for himself… Even salads were not able to get to tables cause nothing was being made… needless to say this was a bit uncalled for. How did he even drive home, much less own a wonderful hometown pizza place… good luck in your future…. hope things get better for you all soon.

Our family of four stopped by on our way to Pigeon Forge. After a slight mix up in our order that was made up for with breadsticks and salad, we really enjoyed our food and the hospitality. Great food and kindness…what more could you want? We’ll go back next time through!

Amazing food, made by amazing people! Charles, Jessica, and the family that they have created here in Dillard, you can order anything and have a great meal. They have lunch and dinner specials, the perfect sized meals for the perfect price, with the same fantastic taste. These are advertised on the ‘Town Crier’ weekly or you can just pop in, Charles and the gang would love to see you. By the way the my new favorite is the Raspberry Cheesecake, ugh! For sure it is a slice of Heaven or at the very least a sin on my diet, either way it is worth sacrificing for lol. See you there!

So this was our first time here seeing how we are from out of town. I am a huge italian fan and this place was amazing. We had some hot wings, a Greek salad and the godfather pizza (with jalapeños instead of peppers) it was soon good. And let me add I cannot say enough good things about the ranch dressing 😉

It was our 1st time eating at Moon Pie Pizzeria and the pizza was amazing. Toppings were fresh and not skimpy. Staff was super friendly and attentive to our needs. We will be back.

Really nice folks in there- and……What a menu! I just ordered pizza ( before I read the menu) and that was incredible with herbs and a touch of salt. I will try to return for the butternut squash ravoli with brownbutter sauce.
