At Monticello’s we strive to provide you with the best and freshest ingredients possible. This philosophy compelled us in 2015 to create our own organic garden that’s grown on site, and available from June to October. Additionally, to ensure freshness our premium quality meats and seafood are selected daily. Our promise to provide the best and freshest ingredients means serving Non-GMO, non-processed foods, hormone-free / antibiotic-free chicken,
free-range eggs, organic milk, raw sugar, fresh wild caught seafood, organic produce, all-natural pork, and fresh natural homemade and degreased stocks.

Our waitress Altrese was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was almost completely full and she was the only waitress with one runner. My party of 4 did not want for anything. She was so attentive to us and EVERY TABLE. I’m not sure how she did it all! Besides that the food was absolutely amazing! I will certainly be back.

My husband and I shared the poached part salad and it friend has the house salad. Both were good. For entrée I had the pescatore risotto, my husband had pasta norma (rigatoni with eggplant and tomato sauce) and our friend had the penne vodka. We all enjoyed our dishes. For dessert we all shared the lava cake. Unfortunately it was a little burnt.

This is a smallish stylistic old school new school authentic Italian restaurant. If that makes no sense I’m sorry. The food is phenomenal. The staff is amazing. The owner is awesome. They care and you can taste it. This place is not about speed, it’s about food. Come eat!

Out of almost every dish we asked for no veal, no filet mignon, no pear salad, no creme brulee, list goes on. Took 20 minutes to have kitchen warm up soggy limp bread we were served.

The food is incredible, but most importantly the service was outstanding. Jared was our server. He knew the menu inside and out, and recommended us things we would’ve never have of gotten without his input. He made the dinner a unique experience which I would highly recommend. Every course was timed perfectly, we never had to ask for water or to clear the table, and we never had to ask him to open our wine bottles. I have been to many restaurants in Red Bank and served in a few myself. If you go here ask for Jared he was one of the most professional servers I ever had.

Went here for my sister in-law’s birthday dinner. Great Italian restaurant. We got the Amatriciana, Seafood Arrabbiata, and several pork shank Ossobucos. Really large delicious filling entrees, I took basically half of my meal home because I was so full. We ate a lot of appetizers from the calamari which was perfectly cooked along with the burrata caprese which was a bit small, but very very good. Place is BYOB so make sure to bring the wine. Our waitress was so helpful and kind, definitely recommend coming here.
