My first time and I’m happy. Extremely friendly to Vets on Veteran’s Day. Staff is great! Food was delicious but could have used a little more seasoning. I’m quite happy I picked this restaurant and because of their gratitude for Vets, I’ll be coming back. And they have Mr Beast Burgers here!!!

The food is standard Tex-Mex and is good for the price point. The charro beans are an incredible side. The salsa is fine and the queso is good. I recently went to eat lunch there with my grandparents and our server was exceptionally rude the whole meal. I’m not sure if our waiter was just having an off day but they really soured the whole meal with their rude comments. I have never experienced something like that previously at Monterey’s and hope that if I return for a meal I get a wait staff person who is kinder.

I quit going to Monterey’s in Bartlesville about a year ago because the food was disgusting. I decided to stop in a couple weeks ago after I heard they had made some changes to the kitchen staff, I will say I was very impressed and the food was delicious! I have since been back two other times and it has been great each time!! I think it would be nice to see a new paint job in the place, it’s pretty dated but other than than great food and great service!

One of our party didn’t get his plate until everyone else was done eating. Im thinking they are very short staffed…? Ive been going there for 42+ years and hate to say, none of the Food is nearly as good as at used to be. They used to have excellent charro beans but mine were watery and beans weren’t fully cooked. My spinache enchiladas were still good happily. This rating is based off of several visits in the last 1-2 years. Super dissapointing as Ive been eating there since I was 15 yrs old and up until a year or two ago, has always been one of my favorite places.

Excellent service by Andrew who was very friendly and checked on us often, we quickly got our order, my stuffed-chicken chili relleno was so yummy and the sopapillas- the best I’ve ever had – they were so light and delicious , they were devoured in seconds!
