Had a marinated fried squid appetizer called Gesokaraage, the Eel roll and the PNW roll, and hot house sake. Everything was VERY good! Everything tasted very fresh and delicious! Cheney needed a good sushi place and I’m happy to say that we now have that with Monterey. It is a great sushi restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend to anyone new and experienced as the food will not disappoint! I will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming here for years, and Anthony has always been a delight. He’s very professional and polite. This is easily some of the best sushi I’ve had. The attention to detail, presentation, and combination of taste is fantastic. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a good lunch, good atmosphere, and good people.

One of my favorite sushi places in the entire area and it’s hidden away in Cheney! The ingredients are fresh, the food is amazing, and the sevice is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. What a wonderful little mom and pop shop!(Although the couple who own and run it are younger than me so maybe not the best descriptor, lol.)

I’ve tried coming to this restaurant 4 separate times. They are never ever open. Their online hours are not correct. The owner was extremely rude when I called. He said customers know his schedule. Hello. I’m trying to be a customer jack wagon.
