This is a nice location! They have a large variety of beer options of all types. I enjoyed the two that I had, and the service was very friendly despite my indecisiveness. My only hold up with the place was the large Rainbow pizza I ordered. There was a serious lack of sauce on it, and it was not quite the style I prefer, so there was nothing wrong with it, but it was not what I was expecting. The wings we got were good, and the perfect amount of spice!

Love that the place is dog friendly, but you have to tip before you are served. The food came out before the appetizers. The beer cheese is awful…we packed up our wings to go, because they came out as we were done so let’s hope they make good leftovers! You are asked to bus your own table, glassware to bar, condiment basket to kitchen and plates and silverware to door by kitchen. My question, what am I tipping for? You have to order food from one counter, stand in another line for drinks..Really not impressed.

This place was my absolute favorite spot for some lunch or dinner while visiting from Colorado. Was in town for a wedding and their Ski Boss Butter Burger absolutely hit the spot and cured my hangover and brought me back to life! Their Real Wisconsin Cheese Curds were also absolutely amazing, those alone made us come back for more. Our bartender was extremely nice and answered our questions and the ordering process went extremely smoothly. If you’re ever in Whitefish, MT — I highly recommend this place!

Cool atmosphere but the food is not good. I don’t recommend any of the pizza, the poutine is awful, and it definitely wasn’t a place I should have ordered a salad. The beer selection is good but the prices are more California than Montana. I’d recommend about any other place in Whitefish.

What a disappointment! First of all be prepared to seat yourself, go to a window and order your own food. Then wait a good hour for chicken fingers and burgers to be delivered to your table. You are also expected to bus your own table- oh and don’t forget to tip them for all that luxury. If you want a drink you go to the bar and stand in a line there too.

Great variety of beers (MT and other states like Stone in CA- from pale to IPA to hazy….slushy rose looked good too) and other drinks if you are not into beer. Food looked great although we didn’t eat. Nate was an awesome bartender!

We hadn’t been here since last fall – it was early, no crowds, so we expected good service and at least the same level of food we had previously. We were here with friends previously; and enjoyed ourselves…food was better then. Not sure what was/is different – realizing the dynamic we all live under here in our town – realizing getting good help/staff is a challenge. We try, as locals to appreciate everyone who is willing to work….in our tourist town. But. Wow. It seemed like things have changed – either this or we just happen to hit it on an off night. Our meal was awful – mistakes were made several times – the best part of the entire experience was the beer. I actually felt bad for our young wait person – having to deliver low quality food to our table. I am used to restaurants where if there is a problem with the food – as a customer – who tips – the staff at least offers to take the charge off your bill and/or make some gesture of simply making it right. This did not happen, the staff never blinked when i mentioned the quality ofnpir food – i sent back my salad and we left more than half our food on the table – then wondered what the pre-meal tip was for??

One of the very few bright spots on an otherwise forgettable trip. Large variety of beers. Great menu. The only place I’ve ever seen an 8 ounce pour…very nice. Get to sample multiple brews without having to ask for samples. I’m ready to go again!

This is an EDIT to my previous negative review. After commenting on the Square app for our meal at THE TAP HOUSE – we received an immediate response from them – an apology and a full refund for our meal experience. With an invite to come back again and give them another try. I was surprised and feel the manager or whomever responded really paid attention to our comments. Thank you. And based on this – we might even consider going back.
