Welcome to Monsoon, the first authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Grand Rapids! We are excited to treat your palate to new flavors and to bring a different dining experience to the city. Our menu features many different options such as Pho, Stir Fry, Spring Rolls, Bao, an assortment of delicious protein entrees as well as tasty desserts. There are many gluten free options and a couple vegan options available. Our drink menu features mocktails by Curious Elixirs, Vietnamese iced coffee, Oolong tea (with several flavor options), matcha, and Coke products.

It was awesome. The server explained the menu with knowledge about every dish we asked about. She recommended appetizers and they were fantastic. Food came out in a timely manor, and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and the decor was welcoming. We were so stuffed from dinner we didn’t get a chance to have dessert. We will definitely be back. My son recommended Monsoongr to us and now we have to pass it to others.

High quality Vietnamese fare. Great tasting and fresh. It was very busy and the staff was doing a great job keeping up, don’t know how they had time to breath much less refill our water. And the atmosphere is good as well, somehow the perfect balance of noise where it’s loud but you can hear everyone at your table with no problem. Props to whoever did the acoustics for the space.

Loved this place. Started with the beef carpaccio salad and was absolutely delighted. It was generous and full of lots of beef along with veggies, fresh herbs, and a wonderful dressing. The Brussels sprouts and pork belly were equally impressive. The char on the sprouts was exquisite. Definitely need to return to explore more of the menu. Fantastic hospitality as well.

Great food, ambiance and service. We sat outside with our dog, had the best cucumber sake, and the food was delicious. Our server was great. My partner has celiacs and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. gluten free and vegetarian friendly menu

Group of 12 shared apps, all ordered entrees. Server was spot on with EVERY SINGLE ORDER!!! Even split checks without complaint. Chef and his staff created amazing dishes in an open kitchen. Food was PHENOMENAL!! Cannot wait to go back!! So reasonably priced too!

Great first experience at this bright & modern Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Party started with the Bahn Bao and [bang bang] Shrimp…Wow!! Both were amazing to start. Then we tried the Grand Rapids fried rice and Pho with beef…both were so flavorful and filling. Prices were reasonable for downtown GR. Would definitely go back to try more items.

My wife and I went in today for my birthday lunch and the food is fantastic. They make brussel sprouts that are out of this world good. This is the first time trying pho and I am definitely going to go back to have it again. I have added a picture of the brussel sprouts that are blackened to perfection.
