I first visited Monicals in Decatur, IL and was very pleased when they came to Avon, IN. We have dined in and have ordered take out. Their salad is always refreshing and their pizza is very good. I highly recommend trying them if you are not familiar with them. They have a unique salad dressing that is on the French style which we love but they offer other varieties as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Breadsticks that aren’t pictured were terrible. Hard and no flavor, pizza had a sour taste and could’ve used a bit more time in the oven, skip the dips as well. Overall not worth the 25+ dollars spent…. plenty of better pizza elsewhere.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve had in years from any establishment. Made us wait 40 mins for a table. Sat at a table for 25 mins. Was never helped one time. Approached by a single team member. While we continued to watch multiple tables get sat immediately and helped right away. When we tried to be polite and ask if we could some help. We sat unattended for another 10 mins. We wasted over an hour here, and never even got welcomed once.

Seated immediately; beer came served with a chilled glass and the food came fast / fresh. No real complaints except for maybe the bathroom needing mopped ✨
