We were on the road this Sat. Morning and needed to eat. Looked at my gps and found this place. A comfy Victorian style style home with seating both inside and out. Light music compliments the atmosphere. Food and coffee were great. It’s off the main for us if we were traveling to the speedway, but gps showed me an icon and we stopped, most certainly glad we did. Enjoy, nothing starts my day like a great cup of coffee.

My wife, Gretta, and I went to brunch. Did not reserve a table, but got right in. We started our date with some spiced plum tea w/honey and it was so good! We ordered from the specials menu, I got the special Eggs Benedict (had bacon and avocado on it) and Gretta got a quiche with fresh fruit. We also got a side of Mexican style potatoes. Everything was so tasty. The eggs were perfectly poached. The atmosphere is lovely (we sat in the gazebo) and the garden is just beautiful.

I came here for brunch with my husband and a friend on a Saturday morning. I made reservations and glad I did so because the place was busy!

My partner and I were in the area and decided to check this place out for brunch on Saturday. We managed to get seated fairly quickly. The cinnamon pecan coffee was good. The butterscotch pecan scone was amazing too. The menu was slightly overwhelming as they offered soooo many different options. I would come back here again though.

We just booked a baby shower here and I could not have been more impressed with this venue. Booking was super easy, communication was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. There were a quite a few options of menu choices for the luncheon buffet we opted for, and all the food as well as the service was amazing.

With great 4 plus reviews my BF and I were keen to visit. We were seated quickly outside and the hostess brought us water straight away and stated our server would be with us promptly. 15 mins later with 2 different servers came out and took care of all the other tables. 4 total. Never asked or indicated they would be in right over. After the 15 to almost 20 minute wait we left. Never to return again. And to think they expected reservations

We’ve been to pretty much all of the breakfast places around Tolland and surrounding towns and have never felt so unwelcome as we did this past Saturday at Monet’s. My boyfriend and I and our 15-month old son arrived around 10:30am and it was not busy. We were seated immediately, but the host made a condescending comment while bringing the high chair over about how he would “clean up all the crumbs that would probably fall.” Our direct waitress was polite enough, but the rest of the women who were waitresses seemed like they were annoyed by our presence. One of the women even used profanity as she walked by our table – not directed at us but just as part of the conversation she was having. The food came out and most of it was okay, but WAY overpriced and under-portioned. It was $46 for an egg sandwich, cornbread french toast (which fell short on the french toast front), a muffin, and a small plate of home fries. My suggestion? … go a little further down the road to Mitchell’s and get twice the amount of food for about half the price. We won’t be going back to Monet’s Table, that’s for sure.

Really outstanding place, with friendly people and an unbelievably good menu. We haven’t tried a single thing we didn’t love! With the beautiful outdoor seating and charming interior, it’s a perfect date spot.

Love the place and always get spinachnsalad with salmon. They gave me chicken instead by mistake, I kept it and it was dry as wood. Disappointed. Love the gluten free bread. Will come back but not for chicken! BTW, second time they messed up my order!

Such a unique spot that didn’t disappoint! Went for Brunch on Sat. and everything was excellent; food, service and atmosphere. Will likely become a regular.
