Third time here in 3 weeks. First time at brunch today and the menu is arguably even better for brunch than it is for dinner. I’ve lived around the corner for years but only recently stumbled upon this neighborhood gem as I never actively have cravings for “pan Asian” food but do now. Their menu is diverse and divine. For brunch we had:

Excellent Asian fusion spot. Great for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Cozy vibes. Brunch list is fun and unique – kimchi waffle and egg sandwich on the everything biscuit are stand outs.

So happy to have discovered this gem! Every single dish we had was delicious, the chicken ginger dumplings, shiitake fried rice (both crispy and sticky at the same time), cod in a coconut broth that was to die for and an amazing yuzu pie to top it off. Lovely space & service too, can’t wait to come back

I read the reviews before coming here and REALLY wanted to like it, but I honestly just couldn’t. The prices are too high for the portions. And good Lord, $8 for a ginger ale? If I had known they made their ginger ale in-house, I would’ve opted for a coke. I feel like somebody should have told me that when I ordered.

What a treat! Stumbled in here after seeing a few signs placed throughout the area and decided to sit down for breakfast. Guys, service, food and ambience 10 out of 10. Are you kidding!! I never knew I needed an everything biscuit until now. ♥️

Amazing time at the Monarch!! The interior was so beautiful to look at and the food was phenomenal!! A whole vegan menu and it was so delicious! We had the Shitake fried rice, edamame dumplings, kfc cauliflower and chilled noodles and all of it was 5 stars! Must visit!

Really enjoyed the brunch I had at Monarch! I went right around opening without a reservation, and it wasn’t busy yet so they were able to seat me right away. The vibe is very cool and modern. I had the everything biscuit egg and bacon sandwich, plus the lemon blueberry scone and they were both fantastic!

That long weekend brunch after a long walk up from Park Slope really hit different. We went all in on dumplings, the KFC, the bacon, the cabbage, and the Banh Mi all proved to be outstanding, and capping that off with the Everything biscuit, cleaning up that left over Szechwan sauce, was a move of epic fat man proportions. We will be back, without question. Loved it.
