Muy Bueno! A must try new spot! This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The food is very authentic. Probably one of the best original margaritas I have had. They have a full bar, plus happy hour even on Saturday night! They also have a kids menu that is very affordable with great variety for every kid. The menu overall is extensive with appetizers, vegetarian dishes, house specialties as well as your favorite traditional quesadillas, tacos and burritos. This is probably one of the few Mexican restaurants I have been to that also has a good selection in desserts. When you walk in the door expect to be treated like a friend of the family. The service was lively and fast. Don’t be afraid to ask to change up a menu item. I was able to get a substitution with no problem and no extra charge. There is a beautiful patio outside with umbrellas as well as tables on the porch with fans. We highly recommend you try Monarca out.

Great place! Good food. I had a chicken and a beef enchilada with cheese sauce and beans, salad and rice. It was more than I could eat, and I’m a big girl. The flan was to die for. I particularly enjoyed the creaminess and the almost burnt bottoms. You know, that point where the flan is deeply brown and tastes so much like caramel.

I’ve been so excited to try this new place. They are very attentive and kind. The food met the expectations I had in mind before going. They had my favorite dish there, and now I won’t have to drive so far to find it anymore because they are so close! I’ll definitely be going back. Back to the food, I got the El chilango and the choriqueso, and both were very, very good. The choriqueso was perfect and flavourful. The meal was also very good and flavourful, and it was all very hot, so hot it still burned my hands when I got home as I had a pick-up order! The fresh tortilla chips weren’t greasy and very crispy, and every meal comes with free chips and salsa. The salsa was a pretty good consistency and slightly spicy, not too hot, just perfect. I was overall impressed, and I can’t wait to try more dishes that they serve, and I hope more people will come try their food. Very nice place to visit and they just opened!
