Had fajitas with shrimp and chicken I believe it had white cheese sauce over the top wasn’t as greasy as it’s competitor in town was absolutely fresh and hot and very delectable to the pallet. Friendly quick service. Clean building nice tables. This picture is from another visit where I had their tacos such tender and delectable carnitas I devoured them in like five minutes. For one person with a tip it is around 20$ for a delicious meal. I highly reccomend one of the best restaurants in this town great seating excellent environment good service and top notch food. 11/10 visited on 7/29 my fourth time eating here got Mexicans fajitas a virgin blended strawberry margarita and queso

First time to restaurant, but it won’t be our last. Great service and experience. Prices were very reasonable and large menu. I had El Mezcalito Special which was a grilled steak served on top of two cheese enchiladas with grilled onions and peppers. Very good. Steak was best I’ve ever had served at a Mexican restaurant and good quality. The person I was eating with had the California Burrito. Huge burrito packed full of good ingredients. Had a great experience overall and highly recommend if in Knoxville area to try.

This place is top-notch! The queso is the best I’ve ever had! Chips were fresh and delicious. The owner recommended the Hawaiian Tacos, so I got those and they were amazing! Served with his homemade sweet habanero sauce. SO good! Highly Recommend!

My husband is from San Antonio TX, and I lived there for a year and a half. We ate at Monarca today and their tacos were better than any we had in SA!! We will definitely be back The portions are a bit smaller but it was nice not to leave with an overstuffed gut! The service was fast and friendly and the decor was really cool.
