We got there at about 830pm, 30 mins before they close at 9pm. They politely (not pushy at all) said their kitchen is closing soon and asked that we place our order.

This place has the most authentic South Korean food you can find in San Francisco. A hidden gem in a plaza underground right across from a Korean church, you would probably miss it if you are just driving by.

A little pricey, coming from someone who has lived in Korea for nearly the past 20 years. However, the food and service was so good that I felt like I was back in Seoul during that 1 hour-long dinnertime. Highly reccomended 🙂

As typical of all Asian restaurants, Customer Service is not a priority and rarely practiced.

Nice little place to come to for Tofu soup and general Korean food fair in Burlingame. Service was nice and efficient. Variety food to choose from. Parking is a bit difficult, but the whole area is difficult to park around.

Solid menu and very fast service. Prices are standard for Korean. Good taste and everything came out hot. Got a complimentary cup of broth as well.

Our order came out wrong and when the right dish came out, it tasted like a mouthful of gochujang instead of pork. The bibimbop was great though.

Ordered the galbi + seafood tofu soup combo ($33) and the Mama’s special stew ($21). For the price, the quantity was very little. There were only 6 pieces of galbi and the soup size was the size of a fist. Food was tasty though. The stew tasted like borscht soup. Quite unique and didn’t taste like anything I’ve eaten in Korea. It was overseasoned with herbs though and on the more sour side. Overall, tasty food but could improve with better pricing/quantity.

I went to Mom’s tofu house before at its previous location in south city as well as the millbrae location. While both times weren’t great visits, I was stunned by my visit to the recent opening of this new location. It’s located downstairs in the building, with a long interior with lots of tables. We ordered the spicy chicken wings, japchae, seafood pancake, and bulgogi tofu soup (under mom’s favorites, not spicy tofu soup). The sides came out really quick and our food soon after. The chicken wings weren’t too spicy but still had a nice flavor to them. The japchae was probably my favorite as you could taste the quality of the dish. The seafood pancake was huge and had a wide variety of seafood in it. Unfortunately, we were unimpressed by the bulgogi tofu soup. The waitress had mentioned it wasn’t going to be the same as the usual tofu soup, but we understood that. What we were more disappointed about was that we had expected something similar to the photo in the menu, but the dish did not resemble it at all. I think we would have rather had gotten a regular tofu soup at that point. The prices of these dishes are also a lot more than most korean restaurants. However, the quality of most of their dishes are really high. While I would probably come again, I would not order the bulgogi tofu soup again.

Really tasty BBQ pork, fried chicken and the spicy ramen. The pork on the ramen was really yummy with a sweetish flavor that complemented the spice very well. Additionally we had the tofu salad and the tofu looked and tasted delicious as were the veggies in the salad.
