Good spot for the price . Got myself salmon teriyaki for lunch there and the check is only came out to 12$ – hard to beat such a price. Worth to mention that service was very fast as well , my order was ready in about 10 minutes from the moment I’ve called. 5 stars

Momiji is one of our favorite restaurants. We have been going there for years and the sushi is always excellent! Although Shinji works quietly behind the counter, the quality of the sushi comes across loud and clear! It’s the best, most authentic sushi in Westchester County!

Best sushi in Westchester. This place is authentic and does it right. The service is a little slow as there is uaully only 2 people working there – one server and one chef. I can’t deduct any points for that though because the place isn’t very large. I’m not sure where they would fit more staff if they had it.

We have been visiting this restaurant for years on a Friday evening. Even during covid we sat outside in the cold of winter to support this business. Very disappointed this Friday evening to turn up at 7 to be told that they had so many take out orders that they would not serve us! Even though there was only one table occupied in the whole restaurant. I explained how supportive we have been to no avail. Left without being served. Never experienced anything like this. We will not return.

I’m really tempted to give 1 star because it’s the best kept secret in town. Small, nothing fancy, but the Sushi…my God! I’ve been eating Sushi for 30 years and I’ve had it all over the World and I’m telling you folks, it’s the real deal.

Friendly, dedicated and delicious. Saved our night! We had planned to go to another Japanese restaurant just a few steps further but ou reservation had not been honoured. Such a Luck! Momiji staff was attentive and friendly. The food was succulent. I particularly recommend the sukiyaki. I highly recommand this establishment where the Chef gives everything to satisfy his customer. The Japanese guests (6 at another table) seemed to fully apreciate.

We have to wait for more than an hour for the food and when it came it was disappointing. The salmon teriyaki was ok but it came in 3 small pieces. The chicken katsu was so hard I suspect it wasn’t cooked well. The veggie roll was also a big disappointment. Overall it was the most expensive rice meal I’ve had considering I ate mostly the rice since it was the only thing that was cooked well and the salmon teriyaki. We understand that today is Labor Day and probably the place was understaffed that’s why we did not make the long wait an issue. However, serving a less than satisfactory meal is always an issue. Needless to say, we are not coming back.

Service was incredibly slow in an almost empty restaurant, to the point we literally got our food one plate at a time between 5 and 10 minutes apart. It took 2 hours total…for sushi, and the quality of presentation left A LOT to be desired. Not a place I would recommend nor ever visit again.

The place wasn’t crowded and the service was slow. We walked in around 7pm and waited over an hour for 6 rolls. There were only 2 or 3 other tables at the time. I think I’ve seen better looking sushi rolls at a grocery store.
