Stopped by this diner with some colleagues. Two of us ordered Eggs Benedict with one crab cake & one salmon. It started out a little rough. They were out of crab cakes so we went with steak instead. The first orders came out cold and overcooked. Our server offered to have them redone. The second time was much better. The service was great but it took awhile to get our orders. They need to step up their game and get the orders out quicker (and cooked properly).

I don’t give out many 5 star reviews especially for our local restaurants. This new diner warrants 5 stars. The wife and I have eaten there twice in one week. Completely revamped inside with TV’s, open space dining, and assorted menu items. It’s very clean, reasonably priced, and the staff attentive. The double cheeseburger all the way is excellent. No more Five Girls burgers which fall a distant 2nd. Onion rings are very good, as was my wife’s little cheeseburger on the 1st trip and her cheese steak the 2nd trip.

We have been enjoying Moment Diner each moment we have eaten there. It’s not a rush atmosphere. Been there once a week for more than a month and have enjoyed it each time. Very consistent. Service is solid and food is tasty, and reasonably priced. They halve turkey sausage… TRY the avocado toast!! Breakfast all day. Staff said burger deal on Monday and Fish/Chips deal on Friday. So we will be back soon.

Atmosphere nicer than a diner. Extremely clean, friendly service. My poached eggs were perfect and it was definitely a proper cup of coffee. My husband’s review of the sausage gravy was, “Yum. Really good”.

I came here after a minor surgery at the hospital and the entire staff was very kind, caring, and congenial. The food was just as great as the service. They are considerate of health diet restrictions. It is very evident that the food items are cooked fresh. As a life long fredericksburg resident, it was uncomfortable to walk into the building without it being “Country Cookin'”, but the staff is so warm and welcoming, that those feelings went away immediately. They honor the old esthetics, but with a new feel. Zainab was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. She was on top of everything we needed, and always came with more coffee at the right time. It’s nice to be back at the building enjoying a great meal. This will definitely be a regular haunt from now on.

We stopped by Moment Diner for a late lunch. Our waitress sat us immediately and took our drink orders, she explained what dishes were currently available (lunch and breakfast items, my favorites). I had the patty melt which was delicious and my date had the Ruben melt which also was delicious. Since this is a soft opening I will have to return to enjoy some of the menu items that are “coming soon”. I can’t wait to return and try the shrimp tacos, meatloaf and open face roast beef sandwich.
