Small place but the service and food was Amazing! Went for dinner and we had empanadas, beef was my favorite one, the ropa vieja with side of mofongo. I am from Puerto Rico and I have to admit this is one if not the best mofongo in Virginia Beach and the price is very good. My husband had the pork chop with tostones. We both had Mojitos but they were a bit on the sweet side for our taste. A very recommended spot.

Such a cute little space, came here for a cocktail and dessert. Loved the coconut/pineapple mojito. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they care about their quality. The tres leches cake and the banana Carmel cheesecake was yummy. Definitely get the scoop of ice cream!

We loved the laid back island atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Mojito had the best service we received in Virginia Beach, our waitress was sooo nice. The mojitos are delicious, and the food is authentic. Definitely recommend for a fun and relaxed dinner.

You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not eat at this restaurant when visiting Virginia beach. To start the staff is excellent. Ellie at the front of the house has amazing energy and definitely makes you feel welcome and gives you great suggestions on what to order. She is one of the best customer facing servers I’ve had in as long as I can remember. Edwin the chef/owner is a master at his art. This menu is simple but everything is delicious. You could see how seriously he takes the preparation of the food. Lisa, the manager/owner, runs tight ship and make sure that everything is done to perfection.

The cubano was solid the tostones needed some flavor. The staff is friendly. It’s a good spot to eat at.

Awesome EVERYTHING!! Had one of each flavor empanada and the olive appetizer. Our entrees had great flavor, too! I’m picky about my mojitos. Probably the best I’ve had stateside. Service was great, too!! (I didn’t care to be charged for more bread for the olive appetizer—$2.00 without being advised—but the bread was fantastic, too!)

Although the place is very cute, being Puerto Rican , I can tell you this is not a good representation of Puerto Rican food at all. I was very excited to find the location and ridiculously upset when I opened my orders (don’t get me started on the portion of rice) if any . Needless to say my family didn’t eat much of it.

Wonderful little restaurant!! You must give it a try. We just did appetizers and drinks — beef empanadas and plantains with pulled pork on top– delicious! Dessert was a coconut tres leches cake– Yummy! Watermelon mojito was so refreshing. Service was slow, but where isn’t it these days?!? This was a nice surprise.

Very friendly service, a bit of a wait for food, but very good. Puerto Rican cuisine is not something you see every day. Dishes were simple but delicious. The traditional mojito was large and strong. The space was crowded and loud but in kind of a lively way. However not a good spot for conversation when busy.
