Mogumogu Menu – Fullerton, CA

Type : Ramen restaurant

Location : Fullerton, CA

Mazemen is a delicious Japanese ramen dish without any broth. It is usually served on a thick ramen with minced pork that is flavored in chili pepper and garlic-treated soy sauce. “Mazemen” literally translates to “mixed noodles” in English. So you really have to mix the noodles well in order to eat it properly. After all the noodles are eaten it is a Japanese tradition to add a scoop of white rice into the mix that is left in the bowl. This is called “Oi-Meshi.” And it is a new and tasty way to finish your meal!

Additional ingredients such as Japanese leeks, fish powder, poached eggs, seaweed flakes, and scallions are also part of the fun. Mix all of them well and enjoy a whole new spin on ramen!

We went there on a rainy day. Not crowded.

An authentic Mazemen spot.

Saw this on IG and decided to give it try. Place was very clean, service was exceptional and attentive. I LHR been cutting back on carbs but demolished my bowl of noodles which was tasty but the noodles texture was exactly how I remembered in Japan. Only downside is that plaza seems to be kind of dead (good for parking) and seemed bit unsecure. Needless to say, lived up to to expectations and will be back.

Stopped in here today for lunch for the first time. If the great and friendly tag team service by Tan and Kristen isn’t enough to get you to come back for another meal, the food most certainly will.

My first time trying Mazemen and it was absolutely an unforgettable experience, made even better with the amazing server we had.

Interesting place for noodles. It’s a dry noodle with flavorful sauces, chashu, and minced pork for topping. Follow the instructions on the wall so you can enjoy the right way to eat Mazemen.

I ordered the takowasa and curry mazemen. The curry was pretty salty but it had good flavor. I prob won’t order it again but I do want to try other items on the menu. Quality was great. I’m familiar with the area so I knew how to get there. If you’re not it’s a bit tricky to find. Can’t see the restaurant from the street. If it says to turn on Fender Ave you can’t lol. You turn on walnut.

The taste is really good! It is hard to find good Japanese food in Fullerton. Gonna eat again. The ramens have strong garlic and green onion flavor, let the waiter know if you would not like that.

Got greeted and seated quickly. Owner is friendly and made sure everything was running smoothly. Great service!

What a gem! Wonderful brothless ramen. Tucked away in a business park/mall, everything here is great. If it’s your first time get their popular bowl, the deluxe.
