We found this place while we were first shopping for a home here. Have been addicted ever since. The food is SO GOOD. My wife loves the portobella sandwich and I love the farmhouse club. Food is always fresh and made with their own, home grown vegetables. The store inside also has little local made goods for sale (jams, pickled vegetables, etc.) and the fresh pastries are awesome. All in all a great little local gem for Tehachapi.

I remember my Dad picking up pies when I was a little girl, behind the squeaky screen door. Now it’s a full fledged place to be! Excellent food, family & culture

Moessner Farm is our go to place for lunch on the weekends. It feels like going home for a good comfort meal. The German specials are always a hit. The California pastrami is a favorite. Grilled cheese and tomato soup when it’s available. The jams are great for home. They small staff that runs the place is part of what brought us back the next weekend. It is small and can get busy, but worth the wait if needed.

One of our favorite places to eat on the weekends in Tehachapi. Great food, service, and atmosphere!

Had a wonderful lunch ..,the pork medallion special. Beyond fantastic! It was so tender that I could cut the meat with a plastic knife, sautéed in a mushroom sauce with a side a potatoes with cooked carrots. I must admit I m not a fan of cooked carrots but I tried…. The best. My palate is still in awe of this flavorful lunch!

Love this little place. One of the early adopters of farm-to-table in the valley. A short drive on a dirt road will find you outside the adorable restaurant. Shelves are lined with preserves and all manner of goodies and the food is downright delicious. I had a schnitzel sandwich and PA Dutch potato salad (served hot) that took me right back to my childhood days out East.

Fresh and delish food with personal service. I had the pastrami sandwich which was lean and tasty. Simple in the best of ways.

You will absolutely drive by this place and not know it’s there. It’s right before the entrance gate to Bear Valley. This place needs your love guys! It’s already got the goods it just needs the bellies to satisfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has a quaint farmhouse feel outside and would be Insta-bait during the spring. The bakery and jams are just asking to be a part of your brunch.

Historic farm and Cafe owned by the Mossner Family. Farm fresh tomatoes, fruit, excellent strudels, preserves and a special German dish along with the more traditional sandwiches. Excellent!

This store and cafe was dark and hot inside. The decor was cute country and there are items for sale such as jelly and local honey. No one else was in the store and there were very few pastries to choose from. The staff was nice.
