I enjoyed this place when I lived in Decatur and still love it when I come to visit. Moe’s is a great mix of good quality BBQ but kicking it up a notch. Last night was perfect! We ordered smoked turkey and brisket (my Texas fiancé approved the brisket). But what knocked my socks off were the sides. They have THE BEST jalapeño cheese grits. And who the heck makes Brunswick stew a side??? PERFECTION. I’m hella picky with sweet potato casserole and was a bit surprised to see them put corn flakes on the top but let me say that it works. I left last night feeling all fat and sassy. 10/10

Super yummy barbecue!! We had several of the mini Moe’s which were fabulous! The sides are delicious and we enjoyed the “Alabama” white sauce. Right next to the Princess Theater where we are seeing a show tonight!

Bartender was great. We arrived on a Monday night so they was have bingo night with prizes. The food and white sauce is absolutely amazing. The smoked wings are some of the best. The service was great, very friendly atmosphere and good drinks. Definitely a must try!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Special was brisket and it was probably the best I have ever had. Their white sauce is really good. Baked beans, macaroni, and peach cobbler were also really good. Their cornbread is a little sweet, which is how I like it, and I think they may butter and fry it a little. Will definitely come here again when I’m in the area!

Atmosphere is great. Nice looking place. Food was not as nice unfortunately. Ordered the small rib platter. Ribs were tough and lacked flavor. It was like eating a pork chop on a stick. Mac n cheese was very dry. The baked beans and cornbread were good. Maybe it was a fluke, but I don’t think I will come back when in town again.

This place is always great when I visit. The atmosphere in this place is great with lovely decor and nice outside patio area. When I come here I usually order the minis Moe’s or the 4 rib plate. Today I ordered the 4 rib platter with black eyed peas mac and cheese and cornbread. It’s always packed with flavor and the ribs are always juicy and tender. Mac n cheese of course was super cheesy and the black eyed peas have a blast of flavor if you’re in town I definitely recommend you try them out

Good ‘Bama BBQ, ribs, chicken, drinks not TOO high and (my favorite) smoked turkey. House sauce is good. Baked beans are excellent AND spicey. Like all good places of this sort, the floors and the furnishings may be a ‘ bit sticky ‘ but the fare is worth that small sacrifice…waaaay worth it.

Its a little known secret, Moe’s in Decatur is an extension of Cook’s pest control museum… as long as you don’t get too close, you can watch the spiders come out of the hole and eat the flies from your table. So the food isn’t bad, but I do feel the spider webs and flies In the web are just a tad bit much for a dining expirence, and is evidently getting overlooked.
