The new mod location has a great team. As usual, mod does it right with the pizzas and salads. My go to is always a family salad and a regular mod pizza. Customer service was great, the gentlemen cleaning up asked how to food was and took my plate awat like a 5 star restaurant. Obviously its not, but i thought that was really nice.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a MOD and competes with some of my worst experiences in a restaurant. I placed an order at 4:30 pm today online and drove over to the restaurant. I was expecting to wait MAX 20 minutes, despite the estimated time being a 12 minute wait. While I was waiting, I watched the team throw out 3 uncooked pizzas and 2 cooked pizzas while rolling their eyes or huffing around, team members clearly annoyed with each other. Pizzas were piling up (I’m talking 10+ pizzas) on the “to be cooked” rack. I watched 1-2 pizzas come out of the oven only to sit on the counter for 15+ minutes before another pizza or two was added to the rest of the order. The team seemed overwhelmed and there was no leadership of any kind taking place. I’m shocked to know that this location just opened and there was no veteran employee or manager-type personality anywhere in sight. When employees were drowning, no one stepped in to ask how they could help. I am never one to be brought to a place of utter disbelief by the lack of customer service or organization of a business as I always assume everyone is doing their best, but today was truly baffled. After waiting about 45 minutes, I asked the people finishing the pizzas if mine were still in the rotation. I was told one of my pizzas was in the oven…so, naturally I asked where the other one was. One of the two folks gestures toward a lone pizza box that had been sitting on the counter for no less than 20 minutes. I said, “Really? That one has been sitting here for at least 20 min.” He just stares at me and offers a free drink, to which I said “no thank you” as I had already paid for two drinks. I questioned a little bit further as I was truly confused how two pizzas from the same order could be cooked 20 minutes apart — no response. No offer to remake or heat my pizza so it could be anything above room temp. I waited over an HOUR to get my two pizzas and am sure the lobby filled with other customers who would soon have a similar experience. The employees I spoke with were apologetic but had no semblance of an idea of how to make it right or how to not make me feel like an idiot for having slightly less than mediocre expectations.

Being a new location I wasn’t mad at the 40min wait in line at all. Totally expected. At the time (2nd day open) you could not order online so we went in the store. Pizza was just as I expected it to be!! The same that I get at every other MOD location. It seemed like they have some kinks to work out but that’s totally expected for a brand new location.

Worst experience. Kept me waiting over an hour of placing my order. They asked to wait and additional 20 minutes at pick up area. Only to be told, “we are sorry we don’t know what happened when they read my receipt. I cdnt wait any longer and went without dinner. What a disappointment for my first attempt to eat in this new place.

Loooong wait even for online orders. 30 mins! Should have built a second oven as the to-be-cooked rack was overfilling. Pizza was delicious. Gluten free crust was over cooked. Will give another try in future & adjust review if better.

The service was VERY slow, even tho we ordered online. Took over 40 minutes…but its a new store and the staff didn’t seem to have proper leadership. The food was just like any other MOD, we got our usual and it did not disappoint.

Echo others who have said there’s a leadership problem here. Looks like no coaching or training in efficient assembly line operation or how to cook more than 2 pizzas at a time. Tough for the workers. Not their fault. Owner or manager just sat on his laptop in the dining room ignoring all of it. Ended up waiting 50 min for 2 basic pizzas. Orders stacked up and eventually 30+ impatient people were standing around asking about their orders or waiting to order as only a pizza or two came out of the oven every 5 min or so. Too bad. Hope they fix it, maybe bring in some mentors from other stores.
