Thank GOODNESS we got a Filipino food place in Provo! THEIR MEAT IS SO GOOD AHH. The owners are SO nice and humble and just want to share their food and culture with the world! The chicken adobo and curry were my favorite ones. So many fresh choices. Big enough to fit a lot of people as well! Oh their drink selection is surprisingly varied as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Tried a newish #Filipino food place in Provo, MMK located across from the Provo Rec Center. You order like at a Panda Express, cafeteria style, which is great because you get to see the food. We ordered #ShanghaiLumpia which was very addictive and yummy. #Pancit which is a personal favorite as it includes noodles, cabbage, carrot, celery. We also ordered a 3 combo which included 3 choices to go with the rice. We went with #ChickenAdobo which was a very flavorful chicken cooked with Soy Sauce and vinegar #ChickenCurry which was excellent, cooked with potato, carrot, and coconut milk. And a new favorite for both my husband and I #PorkSisig (Dinakdakan) which had great pepper and spice heat. I had a yummy unique drink #HaloHalo made with #ube ice cream coconut milk, and other yummy ingredients. So much good food shared with great guys. We will return.

Tried a new Filipino restaurant that opened up in Provo last week. It is called MMK’s Your New BFF Filipino Food. They have a lot of options to choose from and some that might only be available on certain days. The food was alright. Could just be their style depending on what part of the Philippines they were from. South asian foods are going to be a little bit greasier, but that is just how it is. Some of the meats weren’t as tender as I was use to growing up eating from my Filipino neighbors in California. The desserts were decent. Just prepared differently than what I am familiar with. But it is nice to have some more cultural foods being introduced in Utah County. I’ll have to give them another try to see in a couple months to see how things improve and change.

I got the pork and noodles. Absolutely delicious! The pork does have a strong vinegar taste to it, so if that’s not your cup of tea I would avoid it. The lumpia were delicious as well as the mango dessert they had. Lumpia was pretty small for the price. Environment was mid. It’s a hole in the wall type of feel for sure! Overall, I really enjoyed the food!
