This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, a great atmosphere! From the time we were seated until the time we left, our server, John, was so attentive, timely and professional! It was our first time dining here and it certainly won’t be the last!! We were having dinner celebrating my birthday! The cocktails were perfect and the food was fresh, beautiful presentation and so delicious!! Top that off, the turtle cheesecake was great as well! My only constructive feedback is parking, there was none available, so we had to park elsewhere and walk, so thankfully it wasn’t weathering at the time!

The scallops, ribs, soup and salads were cooked to perfection with tasty sauces. The drinks were fantastic and not watered down. The service was timely, patient and thorough. The atmosphere is quaint, and artfully done.

Food was good, but not exceptional. The bread was delicious! Calamari and goat cheese salad was very good. None of our meals were hot. The scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Ribeye was overcooked and the grits were lumpy balls…..portions were surprisingly big for a fancier place. Desserts were good. Atmosphere was okay. Waitress was nice, but very flat. Overall, For the price I was expecting it to be better.

I really enjoyed my first visit to MJ’s. I ordered the calamari, goat cheese salad, and beef short ribs. The other guests in my party enjoyed the calamari and really liked the aioli. The salad was amazing and the dressing was a nice finishing touch. The beef short ribs were tender and flavorful. They even had a gluten free option for the bread service.

Absolutely delicious, with beautiful outdoor seating for a special birthday celebration. We have relatives with celiac disease, and we were so glad to get a totally delicious gluten free meal. My gluten-full children enjoyed the GF bread, fries, rice, fruit, calamari, etc. I had the fish of the day, and it was excellent. Everything was truly fantastic, and we so appreciated knowing our loved ones could safely enjoy it all. Thanks to Tad, Kyle, and everyone!

They had a great Mother’s Day brunch/lunch menu. The short rib was excellent, with a real “just like mom used to make it” taste. The coconut pineapple cake was fantastic. We were seated in the sunroom and had a great view of the back patio. Space is limited.

Extremely good food. Great inside and outside atmosphere. Very friendly staff that give lots of attention to make sure your happy. Shrimp and Grits delicious. This is a home turned restaurant which gives it a great story.
