We had a get together for my mom for her birthday. Service was outstanding and so was the food. I had the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. They had more than enough space to accommodate the 25+ people in attendance. Wait time for food was not long at all. Everyone was kind, friendly and very professional. Thanks to the staff and owner for making it a memorable occasion.

Normally, we go during the week and the food and drinks are delicious. However, I do not recommend coming here on a Sunday. We just went (8/6/23), and first, the drinks we ordered were simple beers, except one needed a lime. We were told the bartender didn’t have any limes cut up and we weren’t going to get any. Second, I ordered the simple burger, the rookie, asked for no onion or tomatoes. When it showed up, it looked like a dried piece of leather (I have never had this dry of a burger), tons of lettuce, barely any mayo, and a tomato. They completely forgot the pickles and I had asked for no tomatoes. And lastly, the fries. I like a little salt on my fries, as I have to be a little careful with salt for medical reasons. Most places don’t put a lot of salt on their food, and they allow the patron to add salt if needed. These fries had so much salt on them I could only eat two. It felt like I was eating a salt lick! I recommend MJ’s during the week, but they need to get it together, at least with a decent cook, on the weekends. I know people don’t like working the weekends, but for $45, I expected a little better food than what we received. I will never go there again on a weekend.

So discombobulated in here the food is sometimes good. I placed a call in order for two burger meals, when I arrive they tell me no order was ever placed. So unfortunate because I recommend this place for multiple residents across the street and after this experience I will never recommend this place again. You’ll be better going to sonics. Whoever Mj is he needs to evaluate the staff over here because they are clearly enjoying the job more then working.

I’ve come to this place a few times because it’s in the neighborhood and convenient but today is the last day for me. I’ve overlooked the flies, nasty attitudes, and excuses because of COVID. Today I was charged .50 for mayonnaise without being told it would be an additional fee. When asked I was told COVID changed everything. I ordered a chicken Philly which is extremely dry without any mayonnaise. I’m very disappointed in the business and have no plans to return or recommend it to anyone because the service is terrible. I’ve been given excuses as to why I can’t change the flavors in a flight, why I can’t have a condiment for my sandwich and at this point I’m over it plus the food isn’t all that anyways. 0/10

MJ’s was wonderful. That atmosphere was great and our waitress was awesome! I had the salmon salad with Asian dressing. It was absolutely delicious. The salmon was cooked just right. It was still nice moist and seasoned right. I also had fried cauliflower bites as an appetizer and they too were delicious. Go check them out you will not be disappointed.

We got the teriyaki chicken pita wrap and sweet potatoes fries Also the fried white fish platter it was delicious also the green tea shots weren’t bad eitherI was absolutely surprised it was so good. I thought it would be ok at best but it was really good. Only draw back was the chicken breast strips in my wrap was a little tough. Flavor was good though. I would go back again.
