Mizzy’s is a nice clean joint. A couple tables and chairs. But the MAIN attraction is the ingredients. Fresh! And the dough. It’s got the cell structure that I looks for big airy bubbles within the crust. I make neopolitan pizza myself. And the double 0 flour I use produces crust with a lot of “cell structure”. I find that in their dough. They indeed have a perfect crust for their pizzas. With that being said. If your in Belle Plain or even traveling through it. STOP HERE for some absolutely incredible pizza!

Unbaked pizzas, centers are always dough… I used to really enjoy this pizza place too, back when it was called “Pizza Plus”, even as far back as when they were a hole in the wall right in downtown (should have stayed there tbh, the atmosphere was cozy and pizza focused as heck, much nostalgia.

We were really exited for our first restaurant in Carver. Unfortunately today’s experience was extremely underwhelming. Ordered the chicken parm and received pasta with dry chicken topping instead. The sausage hoagie also has sausage pizza topping instead of actual sausage with only 5 small pieces in each slice. We also received our starter salad after we were done eating, just asked for a box since we didn’t want to deal with asking to just take it off at that point. There were a few other things but overall sorry to say the food here is just not good and needs serious ingredient improvements.

Pizza was delicious. We are from the area but had never heard of it until we stumbled on it by accident. The bbq wings had a kick to them but we are light weights in the heat. Pizza was absolutely delicious though and we will be coming back.

There was no shortage of cheese and toppings. The dough was docked perfectly. The pie was not greasy, and the sauce was amazingly tangy and not overly sweet.

I walked in to order. The front guy was very friendly, have a recommendation when asked, though I didn’t go with it like I normally do, because I’m not a fan of onions and tomatoes, but his second choice was spot on. Great toppings, lots of cheese, and warms up great the next day.

I have been a returning customer to mizzys since 2020. We live in le Sueur, we don’t care about paying the extra delivery fee because the food was so great. Just recently we had ordered a pizza and it never came- called the next day asking what happened. Was told the driver had a hard time finding our house and delivered it to our neighbors. He said they will send us another one – free of charge (although we were still charged for our stolen pizza.)

When called, the person was so rude. At least with Dominoes..we can track. He couldn’t believe we were wondering the ET of delivery. The delivery person was super kind though. BUTTTT..then my Mizzys salad with chicken….had zero chicken.
