I have never dined in here, but the space is cozy and pleasant when I go to pick up food. I also haven’t done delivery, so can’t speak to that. I’ve been ordering from Mizuno since 2019 at least. Their sushi and food is consistently fresh and delicious. Picking up is fast and easy. The packaging for takeout is excellent and protects the integrity of the food and flavor. They are a hidden gem on Long Island. 100% recommend them to anyone.

Very intimate atmosphere. It’s a small place but the food was fantastic and was freshly prepared. Lots of appetizers even for people who don’t like sushi.. the edamame was great. Very healthy, too!They have a wide range of options or you can go with the Bento box which is about$20. The prices are very reasonable. The desserts are also fab! Overall, the restaurant was very clean and the food was fresh. Lots of parking in the back, too! We had a great experience! Great for date night or even to take the family. Jackie and her husband Ricki are wonderful people and run a beautiful restaurant that aims to please!

I’m not leaving a bad review on the food as I never got to order food. I just wanted to state that while waiting to order the Sushi chef began to cough a lot and continued to make food and stand over food while doing so. Yes he was wearing a paper mask but not turning away or excusing himself until spell had passed is not good. We paid for our drinks and had to leave. The server who was very nice explained that he was suffering from asthma. I feel that if he was having a coughing fit he should stop preparing food until it passes and excuse himself when he is around food. The menu looked great and was disappointed that this happened.

Very disappointed. Ordered 6:30pm, estimated delivery was 7:08 finally delivered 9:10pm. I had called about 8:30and the woman who answered just spoke over me then hung up. Food was cold, tempora was mushy. We each got the hibachi, 1 steak and 1 chicken both very dry, over cooked. The meat and veggies were drenched in sauce that was way too sweet. They also forgot our salads.

I have compared every Sushi place from Long Island, Queens, and Manhattan to Mizuno and none have been able to top them, anywhere.. I’m very lucky to have a place of this quality so close to my residence! If you enjoy good Sushi and Japanese cuisine, please give this place a visit!

They have delicious food here. I’m a fan of the dinner boxes, I usually go with chicken katsu and beef negimaki. Mizuno does both very well and I have never been disappointed. I’d say it’s a little on the pricey side, but not too bad. I usually come to pickup my order, but the inside of the restaurant looks quite nice and I look forward to dining in soon.
