My husband and I went to Miyako for the first time on date night. We love Japanese food and so far we haven’t found a place we absolutely love in town. That change the moment we tasted Miyako’s miso soup. OMG the food was delicious and tasty, the staff was all Japanese and it shows on their food. My husband and I were starving for we ordered a lot of food plus we wanted to try as many items as possible( something we usually do when visiting a new place). Everything we had was delicious . We were so happy and we would definitely go back.

Good food, good service, atmosphere is off though. Quiet piano music or slow music is overpowering. TVs in the corners have to go. Outside is kind of run down.

The Sushi was delicious. We ordered 4 rolls. All requests were honored. The Dinosaur Eggs were so well done- the avocado is sliced super thin and surrounds a sea of imitation crab-ponzu sauce on top.

A few of my family members had food poisoning after eating here. This restaurant is also not allergen friendly as I had an allergic reaction, most likely due to cross-contamination as I was careful to avoid the items I know to avoid. We will not be recommending to anyone, and I highly recommend the manager inspect the sanitary status of the restaurant, food storage and preparation, hand-washing of the employees, etc.

Hours are confusing. I got kicked out at 2:55- I wasn’t finished eating I wasn’t sure what happened and then realized what they meant on their sign. It was just odd and kinda rude.

One of my go to’s when in Gulf Breeze! Both dine in and take away are great options. You are greeted with a smile and the service and the food is excellent. The only draw back is you smell like you were deep fried when you leave.
