I had the sushi boat for two and summer roll appetizer. The sashimi and sushi were great. We got the surf and turf roll with our boat. First time I’ve had beef in a sushi roll but will not be the last. I loved it. Also the smaller details were great. The miso soup was the best I’ve ever had. The salad was fresh and crisp. The staff were really friendly. The lemonade was delicious. I will definitely be back. They have a great kitchen as well. The chicken bento bento box is delicious however I did not like the steak. The filet for the bento box was tender but the meat itself did not have a good flavor. Considering how good everything else has been, it’s possible this was an anomaly. Outside of this one item, everything I have had here has been perfect.

Today was my second visit to Miyako House, the first of which was during their opening week, and found the service level to be better this time around. Miyako House has a very large menu, with a solid lunch section making it an easy choice if your near the Courthouse.

Just ok. Nothing very special about the sushi selection here. Just average taste with a noticeable fishy smell (not the normal raw fish smell). Fair price for the decent sushi. Service was above average, drinks refilled quickly and stopped by at appropriate times to check in. Unfortunately for a foodie town this would not be my first pick to go.

Amazing! I come here all the time and they by far have the freshest fish in town. The staff is super nice and prices are actually pretty cheap for Asheville. By far the best sushi I’ve ever had, this place is an essential in my life!

Best quality fish in Asheville, hands down. The dining room may not be as fancy or cool as some other places but it’s nice, the staff is great and the food is better. Not had anything I don’t like here but would recommend the sushi or sashimi.

Very good sushi for the price and wonderful service. Never ran out of water once. The sushi was very fresh and flavorful. The pieces are on the smaller end but for the price it’s acceptable. Parking was also not a problem if you don’t mind street parking. Would definitely go again whenever I’m in the area.

I come here about once or twice a month! Food is always amazing, as well as the service. Jessica one of the owners always has a smile on her face and is so friendly! The Wild Mushroom and Cheese roll is my favorite!

Not terribly busy on a Friday night for dinner. There were 6 parties and maybe 15 tables altogether. Some of the sashimi was still partially frozen, but the overall cuts and quality was good. Came with miso soup and free rice when I asked. $25 quite good for 18 pieces of sashimi!

It’s kind of embarrassing how much I eat at this place. The salmon sashimi is excellent. Love the sweet potato tempura and avocado rolls, as well. Tip: ask for peanuts on your avocado roll!

The sushi and hibachi were both delicious. I was a little hesitant when we arrived because no one else was in the restaurant, but it was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Still thinking about that surf and turf roll.
