Yummy food! You must try the sashimi salad, yum yum yum! Look at the colors! Flavor was on point. The mint mohito was excellent (no photo!!!).

Great food that tasted extremely fresh. Cozy spot. Generous portions. Restaurants itself could be a little cleaner (floors, etc). Hostess and waitress were very friendly.

As soon as walking through the door you notice the place could use some renovations. The decor was simple, even though some of the best restaurants are simple. It had a nice ambiance; perhaps like a small local sushi spot in Japan. They were relatively busy for 8pm on a Wednesday but only had one server working. The server was nice and accommodating although clearly overworked as quite a few tables had to go up to the bar to order since no one came to their table.

Sushi was ok, not my favorite but not bad for a quick bite. It was walking distance from my hotel so I decided to try it.

We were initially weary of this place because it wasn’t busy and didn’t have the vibe we were looking for, but the sushi was really good! Very good presentation.

Food was amazing, really good quality and fresh fish. You just have to wait a considerable time for it, it’s not fast food.

You know how in neo-noir movies there’s meetings with shady characters where they talk business over sake and sushi? Yeah, that would be this place.

Saw this place on the street and decided to give it a try. The inside is very cute. The food was simple but delicious. However, I have to take a star off for the food prepping time. The vegetables on the sides are delicious. A bit pricy but that’s okay. It’s sf. Will try again another day.

I ordered the tempura, hamachi kama, grilled scallops, plum wine, and a beer, plus a tip, and it came to about $102. Talk about inflation! Service and ambience were acceptable; it’s in an odd shaped space though, kind of long and narrow. The food quality is really good, but portions are miniscule and I was not even full. I think you can get a better deal elsewhere.
