Very good Japanese food. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. The staff was very kind and said goodbye and thank you to everyone when they left. This is super minor, but the tempura could have been cooked slightly more. The lunch specials are a good price for a large amount of food. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

One of my favorite lunch spots in the East Village! Love their lunch boxes which they are kind enough to customize for me to make it vegan! Their tofu adashi is divine! Allen is the best waiter! I stop by here for lunch every other week! Highly recommend!

Sushi was amazing, service was even better. We shared 5 of their specialty rolls between 3 of us and a small appetizer. Nobody wanted dessert but we also couldn’t say no to tempura fried cheesecake. This is in my all time top 5 sushi places to visit and it’s smack dab in the middle of the Midwest. Don’t sleep on this place.

This is the best sushi place in town, maybe in mid-west! They serve very fresh sashimi and sushi, which I never expected to have such fresh and tasty sushi in Mid-west area! All cooked foods such as Tempuras are just like in Japan. There are full of chefs efforts in every dishes.

My wife and I went on a dinner date to miyabi 9 and had a wonderful time. we were well taken care of in all aspects of our service with some complimentary service being that it was our first time and we were blown away at the quality and craftsmanship that they put into their sushi as well as their desserts. The restaurant itself is quaint and very cozy and clean. we ate at the bar which we don’t typically do but really enjoyed it watching and communicating with the chefs. We will most certainly be heading back there in the near future because we left so satisfied. We would highly recommend Miyabi 9 for sushi over the many other options in the metro area.

We went to Miyabi 9 for dinner on 4/1/23. Unfortunately, we experienced horrible service. The sushi roll arrived and had decent flavor. It was all downhill from there. After our entree did not come for 45 minutes, we asked for an update. We were told they were waiting for rice to finish cooking. After 20 minutes more, we asked for our check because we needed to go to another engagement. The server gave us a check and charged us for the entree even though we hadn’t received it. We were told that the manager was not present. Another server gave us conflicting information about the delay. He then stated that he would take talk to the manager the next day and have them comp our bill. This never occurred.
