One of my favorite places in south orange! the food is always super flavorful and delicious. The nachos are a MUST. some of the best nachos i’ve ever had. I recommend the street corn and veggie empanadas as well. The service isn’t always the best but everyone is still very friendly and helpful.

Tropical habanero wings are delicious! My cousin had chipotle pineapple wings , they were good until she found a hair in them. They kindly took it off the bill and apologized. They ran out of ranch so we went across the street to the diner to purchase some small containers to go. Fries were good and Churro dessert was good also , a scoop of ice cream would have taken it up the next level. The beef empanada was delicious with a flaky crust .

This review is a combo of my various trips here. Very hit or miss and inconsistent with both food, drinks and service. This last visits I had there were not good. For breakfast I got a corn arepa and a Cuban cordito. I got home to realize they just gave me a regular plain coffee with absolutely nothing in it not even sugar or milk so that was disappointing. The arepa was ok but I’ve had better from here my other visits. My last visit here I decided to try the wings ans a passionfruit Agua Fresca. This had to be the worst wings I ever had. I literally could not eat them I took two bites and threw the entire thing away. The wings were big with feathers still in them then instead of cooking then in My sauce of choice they just fried the wings then gave me a pan full of sauce with the normal fried wings thrown on top . The passion fruit drink tasted very weird like it was sitting in the fridge without a lid. If it wasn’t for the good visits I had prior where I got a shrimp empanada that was good and a prior time where my corn arepa was good I prob would have rated this place a 1.

The food was decent until recently . I ordered a fish taco and the first one was cold .The server in the back let me know that condiments are cold and the “ fish “ is hot . I took it back for a fresh one and this is how it came . Also the pale woman cashier in the front should take a customer service class on how to properly address customers, her service all around would be much better minus the obvious passive aggression and negative attitude. There’s better Tex mex local spots nearby.

Food was delicious! Great service! Alexandra was wonderful! Attentive and so sweet! Best chicken with a huge side salad I have had in a long time. Chips, pico and guacamole were on point. Tacos were delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

The food was horrible. I ordered a penil platter and epanadas the platter was served in 4 individual containers. Keep in mind, when I tasted my sisters platter three weeks ago it was in one container and the food tasted amazing which is why I traveled on the bus from Nutley to South Orange to have that experience again. Truly disappointed except for the epanadas now they were excellent. Receipt attached
