Stopped here on a whim while on a motorcycle ride, and couldn’t have been more pleased. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious with overly large portions. Had the pot roast special, totally recommend. Perfect small town country cooking.

They have catered two events for our red hat chapter both were delicious! The first was a 50’s themed event with hot dogs an burgers and the other was a Christmas party with chicken pie and pork loin side dishes and desserts

Down home friendly atmosphere with a large menu of Burgers and Fries to Seafood and Salads. The wait staff was very attentive and the meal portions are plentiful. No longer Mitchem’s, now Northbrook. Slow in the kitchen, and servers untrained. She dropped wrapped straw on floor, but thought nothing wrong with picking it up and giving it to me anyway! Baked potato was rotten inside, replacement was fine. BBQ is pork, but definitely not same as before. Tastes like too much liquid smoke was used. Sorry to see this change.

I have been eating here for years. Today I was put on hold for a to go order, for over 10 minutes. Very disappointed, I will not go back. Also they do take the phone off the hook. I realize this is different times, trying to get people to work in today’s atmosphere.
