This is just such a fun pub and restaurant. Our bartender Mary was incredible. She’s very attentive and makes sure your glasses. Wonderful suggestions. The food is fantastic also. They even have Clown Shoes Brewery beer, one of my favorites. We frequently camp in this area and will definitely be back. Worth the trip!

Great place to stop in and grab a bite and a drink. Fun atmosphere, decent food, reasonable prices and excellent service. We like to sit in the bar area where the seating is very comfortable. Plenty of available parking.

Mr. Ups used to be the place you went when you were going with a large group of people or wanted a quiet dinner. The ambiance is great on the deck, and even inside the dining room. Unfortunately, the food quality has gotten considerably worse over the past year or so. Last time I went with my family in January on a $100 dollar gift card. Ordered the Thumbs & Toes, great. Ordered the fish taco (I think it was fish?), cold and wet. Ordered the Vermont burger, cold, barely cooked, unseasoned and bland. It’s unfortunate, because Mr. Ups used to be a hidden gem. It’s also sad that they removed the salad bar. That used to be my favorite all the time.

Mr Ups is one of my favorite places in Middlebury. They have a great variety of food & alcohol selection and their staff is always friendly. Service is quick and the restaurant is clean. I also love sitting outside on the deck in the summer evenings being near the water.

The reason we go there is to sit on the deck overlooking the creek. It’s a decent burger & ribs place, & the fries are the crunchiest in town. I used to have the salad bar as my meal, & I’m disappointed that it’s been gone since Covid.

We just dined here and the food could have been leveled up a bit. We have been here before & never had issues. The shrimp scampi had seen better days & the vegetables were undercooked. Hopefully, it is a one time occurance.
