By far my favorite BBQ place in the Cape. I know it’s a chain and there are good local joints, but this place checks every box- the food is ALWAYS fantastic, the staff welcoming and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the fact that they’re pro-Law Enforcement / Military is the icing on the cake.

The 5 of us, went there to celebrate Adoption after a special Princess Day Event. My two daughters (ages 8 and 5) were dressed to impress after being pampered at the event, which is why we went out for lunch. A girl’s gotta have a place to go after getting dolled out right?!! The floor manager saw the girls and started asking what the occasion was. They told her all about it. We ordered our food and it was my father’s first time there. The cashier did a fantastic job of guiding him through the menu and how to order, even better than my husband and my first experience. My father was thrilled. We sat at a nice big booth for all of us, I love it when a restaurant has a real family booth with space! Our food came out super quick! And as always it was fantastic. We all got pulled pork, our fav! The kids had the green beans which ended up being a tad too spicy for them, but more for us adults! We love the bacon in the green beans… delicious! This restaurant is well maintained, clean and the floating manager on the floor makes all of your issues taken care of quickly, though we’ve never had any. In our case, the manager, who we talked to when we entered the restaurant, brought the girls a brownie and some banana pudding! She congratulated them on their celebration and told them again how beautiful they looked. My eldest daughter was sweeted out, and the rest of our family was just amazed by the kind service, time and warming place this chain restaurant had. Not seen much these days but it goes to show their “mission” is truly IN the company. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Mission BBQ for making us all feel seen and for making our girls feel so special! I

I got the Cheddar Jalapeño Smoked Sausage combo which came with two sides, and I got a drink too. For my sides I got green beans with bacon & mac n cheese. They have Pepsi products here and surprinsgly had Hawaiian Punch on fountain to my delight.

Arrived almost right at noon and paused for the Star Spangled Banner. Food was great and fast. Service was very personable. Loved all the BBQ sauce, but the Alabama White sauce was unique and great. Tried the brisket, turkey, and chicken. Loved the chicken best.

Mission BBQ has all that you’d expect …Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken, Ribs. I did like the the Pulled Pork. You gotta order your Brisket “lean” unless you like alot of fat. Here’s my issue I’m not a fan of the Sauces…they have some (think Carolina) vinager & Mustard based offerings. I wouldn’t think your kiddos will like ’em. The others didn’t excite me as well…but to be fair you should try (on the side) first. The support our Veterans, etc. and the atmosphere is excellent. I’ll drop you a hint, the price point is up there…it more of an ala-cart kinda menu.

The place is cool, the food was good, and no complaints on the service. The value however is brutal. A two meat combo and one side was pushing $20.00 and the portion size was laughable. Most kids meals trump the size of the snack I apparently ordered. I get it, portion control is a huge issue in the US, and Mission BBQ is taking that challenge head on! Come hungry, leave hungrier! My wife and I always split our meals. I think the food was gone before we sat down at the table, leaving us to fight over the BBQ soaked paper lining the tray. It was perfectly good food though, just not much of it.
