Mission Come on, guys! I am a frequent dinner at my local Mission BBQ in Mentor, OH, and a former employee. 1st, let me say I love Mission BBQ and what they stand. The standards and service are almost unmatched in today’s restaurant industry. But unfortunately, this Mission didn’t rise to the bar set by other locations I’ve been to. I had to carry 4 trays of food to the table by myself, I have never had this experience at other locations. They have always helped with this no matter how busy they were. The second and more grievous issue was my wife 1/2 yard bird being so over seasoned that it was black way too much rub. And they served it this way. When they stopped by to see how things were, we informed them about the issue, which prompted a visit from someone higher up the chain who agreed it looked way over seasoned. They offered something else, but she was burnt-out and not interested in anything else. I hope the staff at this location can tighten up and match the excellence of other locations.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly polite staff, restaurant and restroom clean. I’ll support any business that supports our military vets. EVERY DAY at noon they sing our National Anthem

As a chain restaurant, Mission BBQ achieves pretty high consistency across its stores in terms of food quality, service and atmosphere. They offer a military discount and in general they stand out in the community as an entity that supports military members and families. All of their meats are good and their brisket is some of the only brisket I really like (I’m not much of a brisket guy). All the sides are good, but my complaint is that most of them are very sweet, requiring a lot of water drinking to cleanse the palate. Their collard greens are an exception and I would recommend them to help balance out your meal’s flavor profile. Last, we got take out from this store and unfortunately they forgot plates, which wasn’t discovered until too late, requiring us to improvise with their clamshell serving boxes as makeshift plates.

We had Mission BBQ cater our outdoor event for 60 people, and we were impressed with their excellent service. Their communication before the event was clear, and we knew exactly what to expect. Their staff arrived on time and were easy to work with. The food was delicious and received rave reviews from our attendees. Overall, we felt well taken care of by Mission BBQ.

Awesome food and great service!! Clean establishment inside and outside. You have to try the cheesey potatoes and mac n cheese. Both are really good. Brisket, pork and pulled chicken are all very generous portions. Six different sauces for you to try. I prefer the Honey Heat!!

This place is delicious! The -moist- brisket sandwich is a must, I can tell is very tasty and tender. I always do a side of fries as my timeless combo. You should give a try and go for the 1.99 brownie they have just right in front of the counter, you’ll be surprised! I do recommend this place.

We LOVE Mission BBQ!!! We were thrilled when we found out there was going to be one in Lancaster County, PA!!! My husband loves their Turkey and their coleslaw. He had their Carrot Cake which was yummy and decadent!!! I usually eat their Pulled Pork BBQ Sanwich, which is always moist and delicious. They have a bunch of different sauces that just adds to the flavor. Upon a friend’s recommendation, I had the Salmon tonight. I was not disappointed!!! It was moist, tender, flaky and lightly seasoned to perfection!!! You can’t go wrong with their Green Beans. Their Mac n’ Cheese is excellent. You will be impressed with all the photos of military and law enforcement personnel and first responders!! Being in Mission BBQ makes me proud to be an American!!

First time there. I got the moist brisket sandwich and fries. Hands down, that was the Best brisket I have tasted since I lived in Texas in the early 1980’s. Super moist and very tasty. I will be definitely going back real soon

Nice place, and seems quite popular. My first visit to a Mission BBQ, and I don’t know if I’ll be doing it again. Very pleasant atmosphere, and reasonably efficient at taking orders, but the ribs I got were so overcooked they were very disappointing. I’m a certified BBQ judge, so I take it seriously, and this order of ribs would have been laughed out of the room at any competition. Hard to know how they can get away with it.
