Born and raised Texan here… When I say this BBQ is AMAZING, I mean it! Not trying to oversell them, but the smoke flavor in the brisket was on point Portions were generous, the girl at the the counter was very bubbly and super sweet in answering all of our “first timer” questions. The cook even struck up a conversation with us upon hearing that we were also from Texas.

I got to Mission Ave BBQ around 6:30pm (closes @ 8pm) and there were out of several things on the menu. The place was very clean, modern and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food is good, the Texas brisket tacos are very flavorful. The sides are huge, order 1 per family. They are still new and their menu is evolving. I will definately be bringing my friends back. The parking lot could have some new lines painted, maybe on a diagonal

Husband and I have heard good things about this place so we decided to check it out. Plenty of parking, seems like a good place to eat inside for lunch. I’m so glad there is a great bbq place in town. The staff (who I assumed were the owners) were so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. We got the brisket and chopped brisket sandwich along with a side of Mac and the tomato cucumber salad. Can’t wait to go back and try what else they have to offer.

Throwing my review out there with everyone else’s! Checked out Mission Ave BBQ aka Texas Style BBQ this evening! The food was so good! The pulled pork sandwich was very well seasoned and very tender! The Mexican street corn was to die for and I very much enjoyed the jalapeño sausage!

I came and ordered for a to-go around 5:30pm on a Wednesday. The staffs were very nice. I ordered a two meat combo. The brisket and ribs were so delicious and tender and soft i was pleasantly surprised. For sides i had mexican corn and it was delicious and so as the pinto beans. Every food in my box was seasoned very well and it also came with these two different barbecue sauces that was great to dip your meat but the meat is almost good on its own and that’s a compliment! To finish being a fatty, their bread putting was a comfort for me. Will be back for sure !

The ribs are some of the best I’ve ever had. The brisket melts in your mouth. The sauce they give you is great but optional. Its not required because the meat has so much flavor. Hands down one of my favorite places.
