I had been craving a hot dog for some time. I drive by here daily and never stopped in due to the limited business hours. Saw that they were open and popped in. Greeted as soon as the door opened. I ordered the classic Kitchen Sink and a sweet Tea to go. The dog was absolutely delicious! The tea was definitely southern sweet Tea. A lil pricey at 12 bucks with a tip for a hot dog, but it’s definitely delicious and worth it.

A few weeks ago we stopped in just because it looked like a old school mom and pops place. Glad we did, small dining area, cool to see pics and history of Miss Griffin who started it around 100 years ago. super nice people working there and hands down the best hotdog I ever had. We upgraded to the all beef one.

Just picked up a kitchen sink and a Griffin’s cap at the new location. Sorry you were uprooted and had to leave some history behind. Always has been and still is my favorite hot dog. I would encourage hot dog fans to experience Griffin’s dogs and I recommend the kitchen sink. Also, show your support and pick up a cap.

It’s a shame they had to move, especially some ny person using their money to make them move locations. This is favorite hotdog place. Also, the history. This was one of chattanoogas oldest restaurants. We need to do better. We as chattanoogans….could have saved the location. Looking forward to trying the new location.

Several generations of my family have eaten here (or wanted to) Grandmother worked at drycleaner next door….could not afford to eat there back in the day. Father ate there once he could afford to. Dogs are good, new owners are nice…. but are expensive. Lot of people in the area still probably cant afford to eat there.

I’m not a big hotdog fan, but we were visiting Chattanooga and wanted to try this place. I ordered a chili cheese dog and my family ordered other items off the menu to share. We loved it

Best hot dogs in Chattanooga. Good and fast service. Atmosphere changed since they moved from downtown to the mall. Great option if you’re taking out

This was one of the best hot dogs I’ve had anywhere. Very friendly service. High quality ingredients. It’s small, but it was comfortable and authentic.

Great food. FYI this business has moved to East Gate Mall food court (we were not sure where the GPS was taking us since it looked nothing like the picture). Great service and the dogs were fantastic.

Excellent dog. From Chicago & was still impressed. That massive footlong is no joke. Watching the guy make them, killing it, at his station was also impressive. Good spot for a dog for sure.
