This was my second visit with my kids to Mishqui. We all loved the food and the service. The Columbian enchiladas are fantastic! We tried both the chicken and the beef – crispy, flaky, corn on the outside, nicely seasoned fillings that leave you wanting more.

Nice staff good mango juice that Tastes natural. salad looks nice. Got a beef enpiñata the textures pretty good. The crust is all right Nothing too fancy for the crust. The inside of it very delicious has the right amount of seasoning we got a meat dish but they gave us beef instead of chicken but we are still happy it is chewy well seasoned and juicy.

Great ceviche!! I’m surprised that Madison has such great ceviche. Miami has some bombbbb ceviche and this is up there considering the region. I would rate it 8/10 only because it was lacking some seasoning but they have salt and pepper at the tables so it was fine. I really like spicy and I got medium level spicy and it wasn’t spicy like at all. I would imagine hot level is perfect for spice lovers.

This is the 3rd time we’ve been there and it never disappoints. I had the fish ceviche and aji de gallina (shredded chicken in cheese sauce) with white rice. It was tasty. I also had a sangria and a beer. My fam had the salchipapas and the trio marino. I tried both and it was tasty too. We also had a piece of chocolate cake and a pastry horn filled with dulce de leche. The chocolate cake has a nice filling. Service was amazing too. Overall, we had a lovely time at Mishqui. We definitely will be back soon!

The empanadas are so delicious, they have two kinds, Colombian and Peruvian, and they’re both addicting. I am currently obsessed with the pollo saltado there’s such a good soy and oyster sauce that they put on it. I have been three times in the past couple weeks, I can’t get enough!

The food here was great! Their chicken empanada was delicious. I tried the pollo saltado which had a good balance with the rice. Their tres leches was really good! I’m not used to having trea leches with so much cinnamon and it definitely added to the wonderful flavor the cake had already. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Fantastic Peruvian cafe on Monona. HIGHLY recommend trying the chicha morada (purple corn juice with apple, cinnamon, and clove), as well as the Peruvian style paella! And of course, the house empanadas. They were short staffed and had a long wait for food when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, but the wait was worth it.

Went here for lunch after discovering them on Google. Had both the Columbian and Peruvian empanadas, and the Pollo a la Brasa. Everything was superb. Our server was new and in training, and did everything well. He answered questions and was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The Peruvian empanada had a lovely sweet dough, and spiced shredded chicken inside which was plenty moist to offset the bread. The Columbian empanada was super crispy, with an amazing flavor inside; both are 5/5.

Delicious new restaurant in Monona. The kitchen is a little slow, but they warn you about that right on the front door.
