Mirko Pasta Menu – Atlanta, GA

Type : Italian restaurant

Location : Atlanta, GA

LOCALLY GROWN FOOD TASTES AND LOOKS BETTER. THE CROPS ARE PICKED AT THEIR PEAK, AND FARMSTEAD PRODUCTS LIKE CHEESES AND ARE HAND-CRAFTED FOR BEST FLAVOR. LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS ARE PROCESSED IN NEARBY FACILITIES AND TYPICALLY THE FARMER HAS DIRECT RELATIONSHIP WITH PROCESSORS, OVERSEEING QUALITY – UNLIKE ANIMALS PROCESSED IN LARGE INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES.
LOCAL FOOD IS BETTER FOR YOU. THE SHORTER THE TIME BETWEEN THE FARM AND YOUR TABLE, THE LESS LIKELY IT IS THAT NUTRIENTS WILL BE LOST FROM FRESH FOOD. FOOD IMPORTED FROM FAR AWAY IS OLDER AND HAS TRAVELED ON TRUCKS OR PLANES, AND SAT IN WAREHOUSES BEFORE IT GETS TO YOU

Casual regional chain serving made-from-scratch pastas & other Italian dishes. Based on 563 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

I just moved from Europe to the states 6 months ago and have been craving just a similar taste like home. This is actually the first place that gets near to that. Freshly made pasta and the meat sauce legit bolognese sauce.

This was one of the worse experience I ever had in life! To walk in what you call a fine establishment to Cesar salad that tasted like it was next to seafood as our first warning! Next my sister finding a huge roach fly BUG in her spinach! To report to a GM whom invited us back to the restaurant! Why?!? Just why? This place needs a serious health inspection! My sister went to urgent care the next day for throat swelling and for us all including mouth grandma walked away with a disgusted appetite! There was absolutely no excuse for this!

Lovely place!! The ambiance is so cozy and perfect. They have so many options of sauces and pastas that you can mix and match. The food was all very good and tasted very fresh. Tiramisu was also very good.

The service is great here but the food is extremely sub par. At best, it’s a different version of Olive Garden! The pastas aren’t the best and the sauces definitely taste like they came out of a frozen bag! And the sides of veggies are served deep fried to the point that they don’t look anything like them! I would not go back here!

I really liked Mirko before the pandemic but hadn’t been back since, then I saw some recent not-so-great reviews and was worried it may have gone downhill like so many others. Happy to report though that it was the same great Mirko, if not better. Service was excellent (thanks Duncan!) and the food was incredible. Very fresh and flavorful, solid wine and speedy service – we went around 6:20 on a Monday and had the lasagna, carbonara, and san remo. Now that I live closer I will definitely be back more often.

The food was wonderful and tasted like authentic Italian cuisine. The waitresses explain thoroughly each menu item and were very kind.

The Mirko Pasta website states that “Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of sweet, salty, and sour — even dessert.”Only thing elusive is the flavor in this food. If you want to pay nearly $30 for pasta piled on top of heavy cream that taste exactly like pasta piled on top of heavy cream and nothing else, Mirko is the place for you. I understand wanting the Pasta to be the highlight of every dish, but it can’t do that in the trash, which is where this food belongs. Using the terms Cuisine-defining? You all should be ashamed.

Service was terrible from the start of our lunch and it didn’t get any better. We were greeted with an unenthused welcome and told to sit anywhere. When asked if we could sit outside, the response given was “no”, no clarification, just “no”, which was unsettling. We were seated and never given the name of our “server” which I’ve never experienced. I’ve eaten here a few times before and order the exact same thing. This time I was told I couldn’t substitute the italian sausage for chicken in my sauce, and when I told him I substitute faithfully I received the response of “not when I’m here.” No follow up, just a smug feel of ‘what I say goes.’ Eventually I was able to receive my regular order and was told I’d have to pay for the chicken, which is standard, I’m unsure as to why he assumed I wanted to substitute without charge. As an employee of an establishment, that would have been the opportune moment to clarify and inform the guest of the up charge instead of stating you just won’t do it. I believe the reason as to why we didn’t receive the server’s name was because he was actually the manager/team lead, that’s the only explanation we thought to attribute his pompous attitude. While ordering we were rushed and menus snatched when done, we received one basket of bread and when asked for more, he told us he would bring out three pieces, is there a ration on bread that we’re unaware of? The food was great as it usually is but overall, service was abysmal. We were rushed, yet forgotten in the same instance, which I didn’t realize could be possible. We were treated as if we were a bother and as if something else was preoccupying his time, which was perplexing because we, my table of 3, were the only guests dining in at that moment.
