Mirabella is an Italian steakhouse in the same location where Mirabell Restaurant once stood in the heart of Avondale. Mirabell, a local staple for nearly 40 years, could not be easily ignored or forgotten; so when the new Owner, Chef Arturo, left his career of 20 years as Head Chef at one of the best steakhouses in downtown Chicago, he felt it was important to recognize Mirabell’s unique and longstanding contributions to the community. Mirabella is proud to honor the history and integrity of the former restaurant, while serving the cuisine that Chef Arturo is so passionate about. We welcome you to join us in the celebration of life, love, happiness and food. Mangia!

Excellent Italian restaurant with all the classics plus a steak and chop menu as good as any steakhouse in the city. The staff is very friendly and they pay attention to the finest details. The pastas are perfect and every ingredient you can actually taste in the dish, what a concept! This is our new favorite spot and we will be back!

I really don’t know what happened but this is by far a laugh in the face and a joke. I ordered delivery $60 and this is what I got for two pastas, kids size portions and the pasta was very hard still. The taste of both were bad it’s almost as if they gave me leftovers from someone else. I’m very disappointed in this and for almost $60 dollars never again

The service here is always warm and friendly. The steaks are the best around this side of town. Pastas are always perfect. Though I wish they would allow for a substitute for the chips or at least an up charge option. They always go to waste at our table. But I love having them in the neighborhood!

Two stars for the attempt. The old school Italian diner bar held up earnestly and pleasantly enough. Though it was good diner fare, the plate of sliced potato slices served with dinner was a mystery. It seemed an old school neighborhood diner haunt that has seen better days and perhaps should now retire.

Best Italian restaurant in old Irving park for sure and possibly in the city, besides La Scarola of course. The bartender Sylvia is super friendly and courteous. The wait staff was also friendly and courteous as well, food is outstanding with a decent wine selection. I will definitely be eating there again!: 5/5 | : 5/5 | : 5/5 …
