There are a lot of Mio Sushi restaurants in the Portland metropolitan area, yet all of them are pretty consistent in quality. This particular post has quick and friendly service. Its interior is quaint, but clean. I would highly recommend grabbing some tempura here for lunch if you are into fried vegetables.

I would have given 5 stars all the way across, but I ordered a soda and it tasted like soap, I asked for a replacement and the second one still tasted like soap. I really love the sushi here, but they really need to address their cleaning and rinsing of their cups so they don’t taste like soap.

The waitresses were kind, but one of the line cooks talked negatively about me, they called me a “cuma” and stared me down, it was really disrespectful , i felt really uncomfortable and couldnt fully enjoy my meal. I was polite and had plenty money to spend . I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

This is a weekly lunch spot . My mother and myself like to come once a week , and rarely miss. Mio Sushi is a small unassuming little restaurant, with a easy to find location with plenty of parking, seeing that it is located in a strip mall. My mom uses a walker and is always able to find a spot close.

There are quite a few of these restaurants scattered around the Northwest Oregon area, and I think that is one of the reasons they always seem to have excellent quality fish. The menu is extensive, and although I just had sushi, everything coming out of the kitchen looked beautiful. At this location, the staff is particularly amicable and courteous. All around this is a solid pick for high-quality sushi at a reasonable price, and I give it five stars.
