Great Italian spot at Lakeside in Flower Mound. Busy all the time but not much of a wait. Great bar area. Indoor/outdoor seating. Great menu choices. Knowledgeable staff and they are willing to make changes to menu selections. Not loud, great atmosphere with plenty of natural sunlight. Great evening location on Friday with outside live music.

Great service and the food was really tasty and fresh. The atmosphere was really nice and was cozy.

The sea bass was awesome and the vegetables were steamed correctly. The lamb chops were juicy and cooked properly. No additional salt or pepper were needed. Wine was priced reasonably and it was half priced bottle Wednesday. We went for our wedding anniversary and they could have added something special for date nights or anniversaries. They did not receive a 5 because the decor needed some improvement.

Had a nice time, the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able answer my husbands questions he was very attentive to our table and the large group behind us.

Great Italian place in Lakeside. Food was Texas authentic and service was excellent. We had the gnocchi appetizer and it was excellent. The lamb chops had a great flavor, and the pasta alma with chicken and sun dried tomatoes had a great creamy sauce. Overall it was a great experience. It is also 1/2 price bottle wine night.

Surprisingly good Italian food, with good service to boot. Being from Boston and its plethora of Italian restaurants especially in the North End, Mio Nonno definitely holds their own. Would come back next time I’m in Texas.

This was my first trip to Mio Nonno and it was a lovely experience. We sat on the patio that is well covered so enjoyable in the Texas heat! It was a Friday evening so we had the added bonus of live music playing in the Lakeside courtyard as part of the summer music series!

This is my second visit. Food and atmosphere is great but the service. Staff could be friendlier and more attentive so the whole eating/visiting experience is better.

Food was good, we had a vegetarian pasta with angel hair , pesto sauce , zucchini, sundried tomatoes and goat cheese. It was light and tasted really good. The tiramisu we ordered was really good too. Overall the service was good as well and their patio seating was nice.
