I thought the curb appeal was appealing for my Chinese food experience.

I think the food is decent, my wife really loves it, most of the waiters aren’t too friendly, the two thing’s that made us not go inside was first the big red “C” grade, then a quick search on Lapublic health website on food facility closure list from 10/21-10/26 they were closed because of vermin infestation. The tables last time had a layer of dust we had to ask them to be cleaned, then the unfriendly service, old tasting chicken, should’ve seen the red flags last time and not returned

The food is decent but it’s not good when you get bad service . Been coming here for a long time also lots of my family The servers are very rude you have to access for everything that they should give you If you axed for water they don’t put ice in the cup and they don’t give you a strong you’ll have to axed for it I always arcs for lemons they never want to give it to me One times they gave me the wrong order and the waiter got mad at me didn’t give me what I asked for was very mean about it Gave me the hot mustard and sweet sauce for the crispy noodles but did not put the crispy noodles on the table had to ask for it After we paid for our meal The waiter came and chases outside And said was the service bad why no tip. The service was horrible but I never do that I totally forgot to give a tip even though he served is terrible I just forgot That was very disrespectful that he came and chased me all side to my car to arcs for a tip . I’ve been a customer for years not going back no more

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I have been going to this place since I was in high school (in my 30’s now), and I still make the time to eat here. I never feel sick or nasty after eating here, like many other Chinese restaurants I have been to. The service is great and the owners are really great. Support this local gem!

Best Chinese restaurant in the Bellflower/Lakewood/L.B. area. Just love the food here. Reasonably priced. Coming to Ming’s since 1975. Wonderful staff. Just one thing bothers me. Came here this afternoon for some bean sprout chow mein and Ming’s was closed down due to vermin and cockroach infestation according to a sign posted on the window by the Los Angeles county health department. Such a shame.

I do like the food, but a couple of things worry me, first off the table was dusty, the sugar container had caked up greasy dust, our server wasn’t too friendly, made us wonder if the tables, and containers were dirty the kitchen had to be bad too. Im surprised they had a B grade on the window

Overpriced. Every dish was drowning in the same mystery sauce. BBQ ribs were extremely tough once you finished digging under all the sauce. The hot thai tea was amazing and I can’t complain about the miso soup either.

So sad to see this local landmark has become such a dump. The staff is nice enough, but it’s not enough to make up for the horrible state of the booths, tables, restrooms, and the dilapidated neighborhood . To describe the food as sub-par is being kind. The food by no means holds up to the tradition of the restaurant. I’m very disappointed & will not return. After being open for over 6 decades, it’s truly sad see such an iconic landmark fade away with so much disgrace.

Mings a great place to eat .. The server’s are great the food is very good . the prices and good as well . There are two things that bug me is that the staff is always taking in Chinese and yes they do talk about the people eating there i dont have to know chinese but there expression. the other thing is dark because the place is a bit dirty

I grew up eating here with my mom. Its my go-to spot when craving some good, old fashioned Chinese food. Great wonton soup, and their chicken egg rolls are one of my guilty pleasures.
