You can tell the 1 star reviews are from people who think Chinese food is orange chicken from panda exp vs those who actually know what authentic Chinese food actually tastes like. I can’t blame the reviews here though. When “culture” comes in the form of lipton black tea equivalent boba trucks and candied syrupy meats at the mall, you won’t know what authentic is down here when it happens. Don’t go to Ming’s for Americanized Chinese, you go here for Mandarin hot chicken/beef with a side of fried rice or noodles. Valdosta doesn’t have much authentic stuff, but when it does it’s most likely the world traveled folk or Military that’ll actually acknowledge it.

Our sesame chicken and beef and broccoli was so gross we couldn’t even eat it. We took one bite and threw the whole order away. The chicken tasted like it was maybe rotten/burnt/old oil

This is the nastiest Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered chicken Lo Mein & it was literally in soup. The chicken looked so nasty and the lady at the front , Mrs.Ming was rude. She tried to Argue with me about whether I should put duck sauce in my food. She kept saying I didn’t need it and when I proceeded to tell her I wanted it, she tried to charge me for it. I see why she didn’t think I needed it. It’s literally in water.

Mrs . Mingz is very sweet but the food is nasty . After waiting for a hour for my food it was not what I had ordered . I spent 43$ here and when I say it look disgusting I could not force me and my daughter to eat the Lo Mein it looked very wet as if someone had rushed to fixed my food . The chicken wings were the end of the wing not the actual wing so all I saw was hair and the skin on the end of the chicken . These reviews are years old I wish I had trusted the bad ones before going . I didn’t want to judge the place by the looks but it was very disappointing.

I’ve never knew they open business until today. I thought that the building has been empty for long time….

We’ve been going here for years. This is a Mom n Pop stop so if you’re expecting In and Out or Applebee’s, keep moving. For what they are, service is timely, Mama is ridiculously friendly and Pops is too. They always take really good care of us. Nothing on the menu is disappointing. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Be adventurous

Mings is a must go when I go back to vist my old college town. Always got the mandarin hot beef and it tastes just as good as I remember every time I go back.

Such good food. Ming is such a kind and good man. A landmark restuarant in Valdosta, been there forever. Wish there were more vegetarian options, but i love this place, would 10/10 recommend.
