This is honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ordered sweet and sour chicken. Got no sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice was so hard and discusting. Wasn’t even fried rice. No flavor at all and nothing in it. There was multiple pieces of hair in soy sauce for dumplings. It was soy sauce, not even the herb like sauce that supposed to come with dumplings. The meat in the dumplings and egg roll was a horrible greenish brown color. I couldn’t eat any of it. Can’t believe this place has any good reviews at all. Never again.

I never even ate the food. Never will after what i witnessed. I was picking up for door dash and had to wait a while in the lobby. I don’t mind waiting. What bothered me was he had two children working for him.ok fine. Everytime the youngest boy (had to be about 7-10 years old) done something “wrong“ the man would SCREAM at him in front of customers. I sat there for over 30 minutes and he screamed at the boy for 25 of them. It got to the point where I had to say something. Which eventually started an altercation between he and i. I couldn’t help it And I would do it all over again. The poor boy looked embarrassed and hurt every single time this man said something to him. I understand teaching children lessons or whatever the case may be but it was very clear he was saying hurtful degrading things to this poor boy. His face was defeated. No child that age should be worried about getting yelled at every time he does something “wrong” Finally I guess his wife comes out and is asking what my problem is. So I explained to her that it’s not okay for him to be yelling at those kids in-front of a lobby full of customers. That’s rude to your business and embarrassing for those kids. I would never spend my money here. I don’t care how good the food is. If he treats his kids that way do you think he really cares about the customers?

We used to order from here far more often but the past several times have been hit or miss at best. Missing items, sub-par food, long wait times. It’s disappointing. Tonight we gave up and tossed almost all of our food as it wasn’t worth eating. The cashew chicken was the weirdest I’ve ever had, it had fried chicken in it and tasted fishy (how???) and the after two bites of fatty jelly like chicken in the chicken and broccoli that found the trash can too. The spring rolls were undercooked, the broccoli was overcooked, and they forgot the sauce for the dumplings. I hate to complain, but also when your dinner finally arrives at 8pm what’s the point in trying to get it fixed. We just won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Today was our first time ordering from them. The food was delicious, and very friendly, helpful service at the counter! I walked in and placed a take-out order. I think Doordash and take out orders are the majority of their business. It’s a small place w only a few tables, so nothing fancy for atmosphere but it’s very clean and smells delicious when you walk in. The man at the counter was very helpful and made some excellent suggestions for us. We got a variety of items to last for a few meals, all have been very good! Definitely recommend the Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Hot & Sour Soup, Szechuan Chicken, and Mongolian Beef. Very good experience, we’re planning to order from them again soon.

I ordered a chicken chow mein lunch special. And it was special indeed. There was not a single noodle in my meal, and I’ve checked the rest of their lunch menu so I’m not entirely sure if they even did give me another menu item. Regardless, what was in my box was celery, cabbage, onion, and chicken all mixed in a liquid hybrid that I can only describe with the consistency of semen. My mush had zero flavor, so all I could think about while eating it was that I hope it was not what I thought it was. Luckily, I do not live in Charlotte so I will not be coming back. Fortune cookie and egg roll were ok.

I ordered shrimp and broccoli, vegatable lo mien and 2 spring rolls. I was told $26.00 over the phone. When I picked up my food I was charged $31.00 the shrimp and broccoli came in a small container and the food was disqusting. I will never order from them again.

Shrimp dumplings were okay. General Tso Tofu just tasted like oil. Kung Pao comes with A LOT of carrots and celery did not enjoy that.

So disappointed!! And it’s not the first time they miss meals on our order and we haven’t complained but enough is enough!!! We support small business and we are client since they opened till today.we placed an order thru Ubereats and the order came missing a whole dinner item. Called the restaurant and first manager was so rude and then the 2nd manager couldn’t make it better. so we place another order for the missing meal on uberests and we are now waiting another 40 min to have dinner!! And we have to drag another driver to get our meal and the restsursnt couldn’t even apologize for us paying again for extra (uber fees) each we don’t mind but he couldn’t make it any better for us being regulars… It is a shame that when u support small business that they don’t care and they been rude to you… so tonight is going to be the last time we order from Ming Garden.

Employees were very nice and took care of me. Only restaurant that was open in the area during Snowmageddon 2022, and the food was perfect. Some of the best take out Chinese in the Charlotte area I’ve had, plus the egg roll was *surprisingly* good. Do recommend
