Very cute diner! Food and service were very good. Worth a stop. It’s very busy and you may have to wait for a table, especially if you have a larger party. Lots of cool local art and historical pictures decorating the walls, and other artifacts on shelves throughout. By the way the “mini pancakes” are not mini at all, they were very big and delicious.

A friend who used to live nearby recommended this place. It is a restaurant used by the locals and we were told it had great breakfast and bakery items, so we stopped for dessert and coffee. The staff was surprised at first we only wanted a famous cookie and coffee but both were delicious and the cookies were so big we had enough for the next day (which was just as good as they were fresh!) Was able to take advantage of their little gift shop area and purchased many mementos for folks back home. So glad we stopped in! Check out the “flour pot” outside of the cafe : )

Nice little cafe to visit and have a bite to eat. We had breakfast and it was the best. Love the little things they have for sale in their gift shop area. Wish their art work in the restroom was for sale some things were simply genius .

Great brunch spot. Staff was a little disorganized and overwhelmed but once we were seated did a good job. Not a lot of seating for larger parties. Food was excellent, coffee kept coming, decor was eclectic with some of the items for sale.

This place is super special to me. My mother-in-law lives just across town from here and during our vacation up there we always take the extra time to stop by here and catch breakfast/lunch which is AMAZING. Their spicy hashbrowns are to die for. The biscuits and gravy is amazing. I haven’t had even a quarter of the menu yet but we’re going to be moving up there soon from the Lansing area so I hope I can enjoy their entire menu and I’m certain it’ll be worth every penny. The owner offers spots on occasions in the shop’s small gift shop area for truely made-local to the area trinkets/gifts/momentos and the walls are lined with the history of the town and surrounding towns. Beautiful place.

Our first time here and it did not disappoint. Great service even though only one waitress for the entire place. The young people who were assisting did their job and it was great!
