always my favorite, their yellow rice is the best I have ever had in my life! I always get the pernil, with yellow rice and red beans. I don’t even like beans, and these are delicious. Excellent price, and they give you so much food — it is literally 3 meals for me, for like what, $10? Love. Thank you so much!!

This restaurant has been renamed marias and mix kitchen i am new to town and wanted to eat spanish food it was horrible the alcapurria was so hard it would break your tooth the potato ball was not good as well pernil was so oily and you could tell it was old food is so over priced and not good at all

I used to love this place but I was just really disappointed when I went. The food is okay but not anything special. My empanadas were really dry and not very hot. The cubano I got was decent. I liked the mild ketchup with the yuca fries. The waitress was pretty slow but she was nice.

Once upon a time, a truly great small cafe for excellent Latin/Caribean food in New Windsor, was the go-to place for consistently great tasting food and service, and at a good price. Now, Mina’s, has not only changed ownership several times, but the food has also packed-up and left the establishment for a better home. God only knows where. With the current abundance of great Central and South American eateries in the Newburgh-New Windsor area, one has to wonder how this place even stays in business. The servers are young ladies with no experience waiting on tables, especially when they do not write things down; often committing things to memory. Good luck getting what you ordered, especially after waiting 45 minutes for food. Even if you do, the food tastes like it had been prepared during the Covid era lock down, when it is assumed by the establishment that most of us have lost our sense of taste as a result having been infect.
