I recently visited Mimsy’s Craft BBQ and was blown away by the delicious brisket they serve. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, with a flavorful bark that had just the right amount of smokiness. The sides were also fantastic, especially the mac and cheese and the collard greens.

Loved the ‘cue here! The atmosphere and decor had a really cool country feel and was really clean and spacious! My boyfriend and I stopped here to get our passports stamped for the TX Monthly Top 50 BBQ contest that we’re participating in. The brisket, sausage, and ribs had an amazingly smoky and well seasoned flavor, and the maple brussel sprouts and curry cream side were very unique and amongst some of the best sides we have had so far! As for their daily selection of homemade cheesecakes, I highly recommend the banana pudding cheesecake. It’s the perfect combo of the two. Between the great ‘cue, cool vibe and atmosphere, and top notch service, Mimsy’s BBQ is definitely somewhere we will try to visit again!

Met my family here for dinner. We have been wanting good BBQ and found this place about halfway between us! It had the highest reviews so this is where we went. I’m glad to report that the food was just as good as the reviews say! The fatty brisket was rendered just fine, the potato salad was to die for, and don’t even get me started on that banana pudding cheesecake!!! It was so good that we had to buy another slice for the road! Overall this place is pretty good and worth the trip there! Service was good too! I only gave 4 stars because the mac and cheese had a different seasoning than we were expecting, but it was still good nonetheless!

We stumbled upon this place while making our way to Oklahoma. Without a doubt, this was absolutely a great find! The brisket was cooked superbly, the ribs had great flavor, and the maple Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious! We followed up our meal with the most amazing peach cobbler cheesecake. Honestly, it was so good we bought a to-go cooler bag and bought the oreo and banana cream cheesecakes for the trip. They were THAT good! Do yourself a favor and get the cheesecake. It was worth every calorie!

Late 30’s and this is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BBQ IVE EVER HAD! everything we had was delicious!!! Hated our stomachs were full and couldn’t try anything else. I hate bbq sauce and tried theirs and it was delicious. From the sausage, to the turkey to the brisket taco…yum yum. The sides were good as well. Staff was friendly, place was clean, so inviting. Definitely want to make a trip back to Crockett with friends just for their food.

We went in and ordered brisket plates and ribs to go. The atmosphere was clean, there was nice country decor, one wall had guitars on it. The cashier and wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good and they gave us plenty of condiments and “fixin’s”. A little pricey but good!

Best barbecue maybe in all of Texas. Brisket fell apart when I picked it up. Forget the “pull test”. Amazing sausage. Ribs tender with the perfect dry rub. Mac n cheese was the best I’ve ever had. Some places tend to neglect the sides and focus on the meats. Wade and Kathy have perfected both. And the banana cream cheesecake…. WOW. If you normally skip dessert, DO NOT. Amazing. Well worth the drive. The staff, service, and ambiance were all fantastic. Even got a chance to chat with the owner / pitmaster, who couldn’t have been more kind and appreciative. My only complaint was that I didn’t get some to go. Get here!
