What a great restaurant! My wife and I both ordered the chicken kabob entree and loved it. Amazing flavor, and the portion size was more than enough to fill us up. This is a restaurant where you place your order at the counter, and they bring it to you when it’s done. Ours took about 20 minutes before we got the food, and they told us how long it would take in advance. We didn’t mind at all because it meant they made it fresh. They have a few tables with umbrellas outside, and the inside is decorated with what appears to be authentic accoutrement from Afghanistan. We’ll definitely be going back to try more of the many options.

First time here and I’m so happy I tried this place! The inside is decorated very well. I ordered a chicken kabob wrap with fries and a drink. $15 but this wrap was huge! It was soo yummy!! The portion & quality is definitely worth the price. The ingredients tasted very fresh. The fries are perfectly crispy. My friend ordered a falafel combo as well and was very satisfied with her meal. Everything was delicious! They also offer outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!

Lovely atmosphere and authentic cuisine. I especially loved the interior decorations. We ordered vegeratian dishes and were delighted with the wide variety of options. Falafel wrap was the most delicious I have ever tasted. Menu has a large variety of options and service was excellent.

Really disappointed with our experience here tonight. Mimi’s was our go to for chicken shawarma in Maryland, we’ve been many times. Tonight we ordered the same thing we always do and they gave us a completely different dish. The chicken was dry and shredded like it was leftover. The seasonings were bland and portions were 1/2 of what they were in the past. The complete opposite experience as our previous visits.

Came for a lunch blindly just went through google reviews , a combination of plater was mine. The meats were all overcooked and dried out. It appears to be leftover food. Only the nan was good, really. We had a sit-down meal, and the plate was incredibly little with everything heaped high. We gave it our all, but we won’t be coming back.

Had chicken tikka and chicken seekh kabob from their entree menu. They serve it with rice, salad, green chutney and naan bread. The rice was flavorful and the chicken tikka was tender and moist. However the seekh kabob was extremely salty so I couldn’t eat it by itself. We chose to dine in, but the food was served in a to-go box. Besides food the decor was authentic, loved their flooring though it must be difficult to clean it.

Very bad food, me and my wife went there for the second time to eat it was a very bad experience we had ordered lamb kabob and chicken club sandwich , lamb kabob stinks so bad the spices were really off they don’t know what they are selling , chicken tikka was way toooo salty and it was literally raw from the inside. I will never recommend to anyone please don’t go to Mimi’s or you’ll get sick like my wife did she was throwing up. Might want to try some other American restaurants before you hit Mimi’s all the way on the end of the strip!
