We had been hearing from neighbors that Mimi’s now serves breakfast. Everybody was talking about how good it is so we decided to give it a try this morning. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh and came out fast. The employees were very nice, and we had a delicious meal and in a great environment. What a perfect start to our Saturday. Highly recommend!

One star for the cookies and bread. We ordered an “ultimate” cheesesteak and a turkey melt. They were so pathetic I almost feel bad posting this review because I’m hoping I caught them on a really bad day! The bread to meat ratio was 90:10. Hardly any meat on either, especially for something labeled “ultimate!” The lettuce on the turkey melt was all brown around the edges and it was most certainly not a melt. The meat was room temp and the bread was not grilled as you would expect in a melt, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Oh and I ordered 25 minutes in advance and still had a 15 minute wait once I arrived. That’s just unacceptable.

We’ve been here several times for lunch and they have consistently killed it. The burgers, French dip, and rueben have all been cooked well with quality meats. Sides are homemade and tasty too.

Really good sandwiches. Helpful and friendly employees. I had the Ultimate Ruben and it was excellent. The pickle chip bar is unique and very enjoyable. When I saw that I instantly knew I had a new favorite place to eat.

Generally okay food, everything was cooked relatively well it’s just a little plain. I was more charmed by the atmosphere and the servers than I was by the food. I’d go again but I would try something different than the sandwich I had.

I’m sad that I’ve lived in Hixson so long, and am just trying Mimi’s today! Killer Reuben sandwich and the Cajun fries are to live for! I liked the pickle bar idea as well. Definitely a place I will frequent from now on!
