Decided to stop and sample a Milwaukee Weiner as we passed through Sioux City.

We stopped here traveling just looking for a quick place to eat and it sounded good. The dogs came fresh off the grill with nice warm, soft buns. Topped with homemade flavorful chilli, mustard and onions for a nice crunch. I definitely couldn’t get dogs this good when I visited Coney Island a few months ago or for the price. The boys who made our dogs were very nice. The atmosphere has old diner type feel. All and all was a great experience

Possibly the friendliest fast food we have ever had. The food was enjoyable, albeit not exceptional, but definitely not bad. It was very fast. From the time we walked in, it was less than 5 minutes before we were seated and eating. Parking was easy and ample. We had a chili dog, double cheese dog (cheesy bow wow), cheese burger, chocolate shake, and hot chocolate.

My 10 year old found this place and insisted we try it. This being our first time, we walked in and were greeted by 4 gentlemen who were very helpful and friendly! Everything is a la cart style. The menu is posted on the board behind the counter with employees there ready to serve you quickly and efficiently! We loved the chili dogs, mustard, onions and chili on the hot dogs was so good!! Booth seating is avaliable inside with tables outside and even a walk up window!! So cute I thought! Very clean, comfortable with very respectful, polite and inviting staff there to help with whatever you need!! We will be coming back here again for sure! Our family of 6 all got at least 2 dogs per person, drinks and chips and it cost us under $63, for 6 people! That’s a deal, and it was delicious food!!

They may be famous for their hot dogs, but the cheeseburger, with chili and onions, amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a 20. After we both finished our cheeseburger, we had to try a hotdog. The staff even offered to cut it in half. I must say, this too was mighty tasty. If your in the area, drop by and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious! It’s tough when traveling to find a good hot dog shop, and this one fits the bill.

Not as good as they once were. Their prices on their sodas—outrageous. Better hot dogs at Tastee in and Out and Bob’s Drive inn. I won’t be back.

I have come here since I first learned how to eat, am now 71 yrs old. It was a big deal to come to Sioux City (from our farm 20 miles north), and that meant eating at Milwaukee Weiner Shop!! I was always so excited!
