Nice old side of the road restaurant. Friendly people. The Shrimp salad was GREAT, lots of shrimp, needs MORE seasoning. Was told owners wife thinks everything is too spicy. Feed your customers not your own taste. The gumbo was good. I will return but ask for MORE seasoning.

I just went for lunch, the oyster Poboy had large, soft fried oysters that were perfectly juicy! The waitress described the shoestring vs thick onion rings, so I got thin. Beer can’t get any colder either

This is a must stop place to eat!! Great food!! Large portions and great wait staff!! We were recommended this place by two locals we met and boy were they right!! We had the pleasure of meeting the super nice owners, we had a great conversation and we were even given a tour of the entire operation!! The kitchen is spotless!!!!! The fried shrimp is some of the best we have ever had!!

Small town feel, great/friendly/attentive service. Everything was fried, didn’t have boiled crawfish when we went. Was a little sketched out bringing the kids with all the neon bar lights, turns out there is a bar attached, but separate from the restaurant/dining area.

Ever since I was a kid this place has had great food. One of those places that seems to never change. It’s definitely not the place to go if you’re looking for something fancy but if you want some great seafood from some great cooks you’ll definitely get it here.

Great service with friendly wait staff. Portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. Shrimp and corn bisque was rich and very good. I got grilled shrimp but think I’ll try the fried next time. Chicken tenders were good too!

Classic South Louisiana cajun food and bar. Consistent, high quality. Clean, large bathrooms handicapped accessible. Family owned. One of the few places on the northshore where you can get good New Orleans food. Was my late husband’s favorite place to get fried catfish.
